Orion Abrams Orion Abrams 6'0" | 172 lbs | WR Hempfield | 2027 State PA has had a monster season for Hempfield. He has caught 77 passes for 1,077 yards and 12 touchdowns on the season. He has been Hempfield’s go-to receiver all season. They have needed him to step up, and he has all season. Abrams ability to make defenders miss after he catches he ball is excellent. If Hempfield can upset Manheim Township in the playoffs on Friday, they will need Abrams to make a ton of plays. He is up for the task.

Orion Abrams Orion Abrams 6'0" | 172 lbs | WR Hempfield | 2027 State PA is having a breakout season for Hempfield. He leads the Lancaster-Lebanon League with 23 catches on the year. He has been the main target for Hempfield all season. What I love about his film is his ability to catch the ball between defenders. He is excellent at catching the ball in traffic. He also does a good job on 50/50 balls by going upfield to catch the ball. The other part of his game I like is how he runs most routes at a high level. Abrams has been a good player who should continue to play at a high level for Hempfield.

I had the pleasure of watching him work out at our Prep Redzone Showcase, and I came away impressed with him as a prospect. He does a good job of getting in and out of breaks and creating separation from defensive backs. He also catches the ball well in traffic between defenders. Abrams has the talent to have a monster season this year for Hempfield. I expect him to be a big part of the Hempfield offense this year.

I expect him to have a breakout season this year for Hempfield. At the combine, he was excellent the entire day and looks the part of a good receiver. He is a good athlete who moves in and out of his breaks well. I expect a rankings bump for Abrams as he should climb up the rankings. My boss, Vic Castillo Vic Castillo RB PA , has his work cut out for the 2027 class because there are so many talented players, and Abrams deserves to be moved up the rankings.

I had ten wideouts present whose performances left an impression on me. One of those ten was Hempfield’s Orion Abrams Orion Abrams 6'0" | 172 lbs | WR Hempfield | 2027 State PA . Love his build, a suitable one that allows him to win in multiple areas of the field. Not an overtly big/menacing prospect, yet not one too small to sniff next-level ball.

A verified 6’0, 172 pounds. A 4.72 40 (HT) and a verified 9’1 broad jump.

A blend of burst/twitch and acceleration. Nuanced in and out of his breaks, I can tell he pays attention to detail when training/developing his release. Great lateral agility early on in reps, great burst upfield to eat up cushion working against off coverage. We had a good amount of big-bodied wideouts who garnered attention because of their length. We had a crop of small slot weapons who wowed with agility, Abrams was the perfect blend of each. Excited to raise his ranking a bit moving forward.

Abrams ability to run routes and get in and out of breaks is impressive. You can see that, compared to last year, he has grown a ton as a player. His ability to catch the ball in one-on-ones also stood out as he held his own and at times dominated against good defensive backs in coverage. Abrams has a chance to be a breakout player this year for Hempfield.

Orion Abrams Orion Abrams 6'0" | 172 lbs | WR Hempfield | 2027 State PA is another talented wide receiver and outside linebacker for Hempfield. Abrams has limited film but shows promise as a wide receiver and an outside linebacker. I expect him to get on the field somewhere this season for Hempfield.
