The Class of 2026 has a strong stable of DBs that I believe are going to turn heads during this upcoming camp cycle. Along with that, this group of athletes will also start to see an increase in the offers coming in for them. These are kids that once they get the chance to be in front of college coaches are going to prove they can play at the next level. They are going to verify what they have shown on tape as juniors. In today's article we are going to talk about the under the radar DBs that I believe are going to blow up during camp season. So keep a close eye on this bunch.

One of the top DBs in the state has somehow become an under the radar recruit. He started hot early in 2025 with an offer from North Dakota, but that is where things still sit. The 6' 195 lbs safety is well deserving of more D1 looks and should prove that this summer. Luke is at his best playing over the top, reading the QB and showing off his range, ball skills, and timing to either make plays on the ball or destroy receivers right when the ball arrives. Tetzlaff also dominates against the run. He is so good flying downhill, closing quickly and navigating traffic on his way to the ball. The '26 excels any time he can use his physicality to impact the game. This summer he is going to get plenty of chances to verify his coverage abilities as well as his athleticism. So keep an eye out for him.

One of the best cornerbacks in the Class of 2026 is [player_tooltip player_id='1610093' first='Joc' last='Hamilton'] out of Sun Prairie West. The CB is coming off a junior campaign where he didn't allow a single TD reception, and if he can come out and clamp down receivers this summer like that then he is going to have a lot of eyes on him. Joc jumps off the tape any time he is in a situation where he can show off his range or closing speed. We see him in zone quite a bit, and his ability to read and react at a rapid pace has led to a lot of big plays for him. Hamilton also checks the physicality box, not being afraid to securely wrap up ball carriers to bring plays to an end quickly. I'm looking to see Hamilton in coverage this summer. Hope to cross paths with him.

I have a good feeling that that Alex is going to be impressing a lot of people this summer. He is coming off a season where he had a lot of reps in man coverage, showing that he could run with WRs deep downfield and also react instantly to route breaks and accelerate through them with the receiver. That ability to stay tight in coverage throughout the route will jump out from the crowd at camps. Alex's quick twitch agility and overall reactive athleticism are going to have the perfect stage to shine. I also recommend going to the tape to watch how physical he is as well. The junior has no fear when it comes to tackling and will not hesitate to drop the hammer on a skill player out in space. I'm confident we will see Alex prove to be a Top 10 type of DB this summer.

I love the quick twitch athleticism that Parker possesses. It gives him the ability to press at the line in man coverage, be aggressive with his jam, and run stride for stride with the receiver through the entire route. His hips and feet are so quick, allowing him to be so quick to react to the receiver's movements. Parker also has the acceleration to be able to recover or close on the WR in an instant. The stage is set for Parker to come out this summer and lock down WRs. We have seen him do it in person before when he was winning DB MVP at past PRZ WI Showcases. Get ready for a big summer from Rode.

A safety recruit to keep an eye on this summer comes from the State Champs, Racine St. Catherine's. The junior put together a really solid 2024, showing off a well rounded game. The '26 is a very reliable last line of defense. You can count on him to come downhill, square up 1 on 1 with a ball carrier, and bring them down in the open field. You can also count on him to close quickly from his deep safety position to limit the yards the RB gains on those runs. The junior safety also did well providing coverage over the top. He flashed his speed to the sideline and ball skills, making QBs think twice about going deep to his half of the field. This summer will be a great chance for him to show off where he is at when it comes to single coverage. Don't sleep on this kid. He is already a three year varsity starter.

You don't have to watch very long into his junior highlights to see how well Jake does in zone coverage. He excels at reading the QB while also staying aware of who is in his zone and where they are at. The junior DB has flashed the closing speed on some of his biggest plays after quickly reading what was developing in front of him. Jake checks the speed box too, showing that he can run vertically with WRs. On top of it all, Kardelis is a reliable tackler. He is a DB that will instantly trigger downhill and make wrap up tackles. He is a well rounded prospect that could make a splash this summer.

Another hidden gem at the position is the Racine Park CB. The 5'10" 160 lbs athlete is a kid that they don't hesitate to put out on an island by himself. The junior has both the long speed and the quick twitch agility to be able to stay with WRs through any route. Jwan has also demonstrated really good awareness of what is developing around him and will perfectly time when to come off his man and go make a play. The junior also does really well with his aggressiveness at the catch point, but also has the timing necessary to not draw penalties while being aggressive. The CB also plays some WR too, and has made big plays on that side of the ball as well. Don't overlook this kid.
