The southern half of WI is a loaded region. With the majority of major cities being south of our Hwy 10 line through WI it brings a ton of schools to the table and a ton of big, strong, and impressively athletic offensive linemen that should be very high on recruiting boards of FBS, FCS, and D2 programs. These kids are difference makers. Kids that have the talent to come in, develop, and provide depth while eventually battling for jobs at the collegiate level. Make sure you are locked in on these kids, recruiters!

Southern WI is home to one of the best players in the state. [player_tooltip player_id='1220645' first='James' last='Thomas'] of Oak Creek is a surefire FBS recruit with a great frame that is loaded up with power and very effective range and short area agility. His ability to burst out of his stance in the run game and create a positive surge in the trenches right from the point of contact is special. James possesses an impressive ability to stay on blocks and even when he gets off balance you see his ability to regather himself while still performing the block. The OL is also a nimble, dancing bear in pass protection. His body control aids him hugely in that part of his game as he mirrors edge rushers effortlessly. James is an outstanding prospect with a slew of Power 4 offers to choose from at this point.

The next southern WI standout comes from Arrowhead. A team that is loaded up with talent, and right near the top of that list is IOL [player_tooltip player_id='402817' first='Mitchel' last='Bilicki']. The junior has seen things start to pick up in his recruitment recently, including three offers in the past week. We have been a fan of the strides that Mitchel has made year over year when it comes to how fluid and agile he is on the interior. His recent clips in the offseason have me thinking Bilicki has made another leap in that area. Mitchel is able to powerfully and quickly change direction or set his anchor or adjust his positioning while engaged in a block so effectively. On top of that short area movement, Mitchel is also developing into an effective blocker on the move, pulling across the formation. With his size, strong hands, and mobility in short areas and beyond his gap, Mitchel is set to go into the summer and garner even more attention.

Another 2026 OL out of Southern WI with three D2 offers is Muskego's [player_tooltip player_id='1546521' first='Parker' last='Murawski']. The junior brings an elite frame to the field. More impressive is how Parker plays with that size. His highlights from the season are littered with clips showing his ability to get well beyond his initial alignment, whether that be pulling, or closing quickly on level two, or getting horizontal and getting across the face of his DL to wall them off. Parker has also shown his power and ability to get underneath a DL and drive them far out of the gap with his superior power. It is impressive watching Parker's power easily overwhelm opponents coming from the best conference in the state. Do not miss out on this kid. A big summer is in store for him.

Another outstanding OL talent from down south is [player_tooltip player_id='1276435' first='Patrick' last='Roeker']. I believe the 6'5" 295 lbs OL is the best in the state who doesn't have an offer, yet. All that tells me is once Patrick is able to get pads on early this summer we are going to see things take off for him. If we have to wait that long, that is. The junior has plenty of interest, taking visits to several D2, FCS, and FBS programs over the past couple months. The big man has violent power in the trenches. Turn on the tape and you will see clip after clip of his powerful base bulldozing DL off the ball or those heavy hands land punches that put defenders on their back with that initial punch. Patrick's game is built around his power. I can't wait to see who makes the first offer.

Another standout OL ready for that first offer is Hartford's [player_tooltip player_id='700208' first='Sam' last='Johnston']. Sam is so well rounded with his OL skillset. He is an athlete that puts in year round work and it translates to the field. In pass protection, Sam is smooth and efficient, using his length to make first contact and gain control of his opponent. His feet get him plenty of depth while staying square and balanced under him. Plus his power to set his anchor is looking ready for the next level. That same power shines in the run game as he gets into the chest in a position with leverage and plows his man off the line. Big things ahead for Sam. His time is coming.

Even with it being varsity highlights, Brendan has so many clips where his dominance in the trenches stands out from the crowd. Over and over he is bursting out of his stance and overwhelming defensive lineman as he literally runs them out of the trenches, into the second level, and beyond. Grabot's short area agility, quickness, and range to get to level two also jump off the tape as he lands key blocks on LBs. The junior is quick, nimble, strong, and brings the mentality that he is going to try and dominate opponents every rep. Ingredients of an OL who has his best football ahead of him.

Luka is coming off his first offer just last week. A well deserved moment for a talented, and rapidly improving junior. There is a lot to like, just from the tape. Luka is really good in pass protection. His balance, footwork, and reactive athleticism allow him to make it look easy as he mirrors edge defenders and their pass rush moves and counter moves. Luka also plays with eye catching quickness out of his stance to close on his opponents and get hands on so that they can't get away or win with agility. In the run game once Luka locks onto his man there is no disengaging. He stays square on them, controls where they go, and doesn't let them open up any space. I love how well rounded Luka is. Don't sleep on this kid.
