Today's MHSAA Camp at DeWitt was an astounding success! Over 100 prospects, several offers given out, and a number of excellent performances. I have about nine players circled on my roster that I could talk about. For now, here are five players whom I'd like to shout out.

Javari earned himself his fourth offer today from Siena Heights. An overall good outing, even though I thought the 1on1 drills did not fit Javari's skillset. In my view, Javari is best utilized when running in between the tackles. Think prime Rhamondre Stevenson. Instead, Javari was tasked with running routes out of the backfield and defending RBs at linebacker.

Javari had his moments. I thought he was especially good at linebacker- fast feet, solid change of direction. Though Javari was not as explosive as I thought he'd be.

This was an ON day for Jamison. Dude was catching everything.

As I've said countless times, Jamison knows how to get open, and he has a very wide catch radius. A ton of slightly high or outside throws snatched with relative ease. I even heard some college coaches discussing Jamison. Plus, he earned an offer from Hope.

Still some areas to improve for Jamison. Though when he's "on", Jamison has a great catch radius, hands, and body control.

It was good seeing Sam today! All in all, Sam was the best QB at this year's DeWitt camp. Just like on tape, Sam was slinging the ball to the short-intermediate areas of the field with excellent accuracy and velocity. Such fast velocity that most receivers present had a very difficult time catching. Sam also had a number of good deep balls, but those were a lot more inconsistent than everything within 20 yards.

Elite size, great throw power, good all-around accuracy. Still a GLIAC prospect in my view.

Brand-new prospect Eston Thorburn caught my attention a few times. He's a slot receiver built like a 3-down running back. He loved the deeper routes, especially the post, and I can see why. Eston did a phenomenal job of planting his foot and making simple, quick cuts. Nothing fancy, never danced around too much or attempted fancy routes- just basic, effective route running and a few great catches.

Need to see more for me to confidently say he's a college prospect, but this camp was surely a great start.

Some prospects you just need to watch in person.

Mainly, it was the eye test. Atticus has the size to become an elite Tight End. He's a true 6'4", and he's starting to fill out his frame. Athletically, he's not quite there yet, but he's also not raw. The same applies to most aspects of his game. As a receiver, if Atticus can take a step forward when it comes to change of direction, route running, speed, and hands, he'll be a legit college prospect.

I know I was quite general here. Though that was my takeaway. Atticus has the tools, he just needs to make the most of the next 365 days.
