2025 Kentucky Future Stars – 8th Grade Quarterback Selections

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>This year's Kentucky Future Stars saw over 400 athletes show up in four different areas around the state, in an effort to be selected for the #Brotherhood of the program. When the smoke settled, there were only three 8th grade (class of 2029) Quarterbacks selected to the prestigious team. This year's group will attempt to beat Tennessee for the fourth straight year, on the eighth-grade level. Jacobson was named the Offensive MVP for the Silver Creek Dragons during the 2024 season, and followed it up by leading the 14U Kentuckiana Bl1tz to the Prep Redzone 7v7 National Championship in April. While Perry wasn't the starter last year, he got an ample opportunity to show what he could do. I haven't seen any updated film or received any new information on Perry, but to be selected for this team, the ability has to certainly still be special. In last year's contest he took a beating all game long, but threw the game-winning TD pass as the clock hit 0:00. The talented righty followed that memorable experience up with an incredible eighth-grade season, as his right arm helped lead Pikeville to an undefeated season and KYMSFA 8th Grade Division 3 State Championship. Individually, Scott tallied 2,038 passing yards with with 31 TD passes versus just 3 INTs and a completion percentage of 73.7%. The multi-sport athlete (wrestling/baseball) also showed off the ability to use his legs a little bit, adding 6 rushing TDs and 229 yards on 47 attempts on the season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
