[player_tooltip player_id='2160925' first='Tyren' last='Anderson'] is a 6'1", 180-pound freshman for Green County High School. Anderson has always stood out as a defender, and that rang true with 3 recorded sacks this past weekend. He also plays on the offensive side of the ball, where he is a fantastic running back with great size and agility for the position. He's at his best when bouncing out to the edge of the field before cutting upfield and turning on the jets. He has one 50+ yard touchdown run to his credit this season to prove it. Anderson will get a lot of varsity experience over the next four years and has already made the most of his opportunities at that level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1866050' first='Ben' last='Jackson'] played up on Beechwood's freshman team as an 8th grader last season. This season, he's sitting behind one of the best quarterbacks in the state, but he's getting reps at the JV level. There, he's taking the top off the defense and showcasing his arm strength, accuracy, and poise in the pocket as he continues to sharpen his game. Jackson is also very athletic and can be a playmaker with his feet in addition to his arm. I expect him to be someone the state of Kentucky will know very well, very soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306371' first='Levi' last='Frazier'] has a varsity frame as a freshman in the class of 2030. He's mostly playing right guard for Williamsburg, but can play anywhere on the line, including on defense as a DT. Frazier is aggressive off the snap and can trap his man away from the play consistently while playing cleanly. Frazier looks poised and comfortable playing at the varsity level, and he's only going to get better. The more size he puts on, the better, as Frazier has cemented himself as one of the leading linemen in his class to start his first high school season.

Cole Howard is starting varsity for Magoffin County to begin his high school career. So far, he's thrown for 566 yards on 40-of-67 (59.7%) passing, for 7 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. While Howard is still adjusting to the high school level, he's proven to be a leader as well as a gamer for his team. During Magoffin County's 53-34 win over Floyd Central in Week 2, he scored five total touchdowns (two on the ground) while completing 17-of-22 passes for 307 yards and has his team 2-2 through four weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1306193' first='LJ' last='Smith IV'] is a towering, imposing two-way lineman for Louisville Male. He starts at left tackle for his squad and has proven his talent so far, and has shown aggressiveness, strong (clean) hands, a quick first step, and the ability to overpower almost every player he comes into contact with. Smith IV is a great pass blocker, which doesn't surprise me since he's been tasked with protecting his QB's blindside. With his size, length, and pass-blocking abilities, Smith IV has a very high ceiling at the high school level.
