Tyren Anderson Tyren Anderson DB Green County | 2030 KY is a 6’1″, 180-pound freshman for Green County High School. Anderson has always stood out as a defender, and that rang true with 3 recorded sacks this past weekend. He also plays on the offensive side of the ball, where he is a fantastic running back with great size and agility for the position. He’s at his best when bouncing out to the edge of the field before cutting upfield and turning on the jets. He has one 50+ yard touchdown run to his credit this season to prove it. Anderson will get a lot of varsity experience over the next four years and has already made the most of his opportunities at that level.

Anderson was the definition of a difference-maker in the secondary, a true “dawg” who brought a complete skill set to the safety position. With his length and strength, he consistently disrupted receivers at the catch point and matched up well against a variety of offensive threats. In coverage, he showed range and instincts, reading plays quickly and putting himself in position to make an impact. His ball skills stood out, as he tracked the football naturally and looked comfortable making plays on it, whether breaking up passes or creating turnover opportunities.

What really separated Anderson, though, was how complete his game was. He combined his coverage ability with physicality as a tackler, showing no hesitation coming downhill and finishing plays in space. His speed allowed him to cover ground sideline to sideline, making him a reliable last line of defense and a threat to erase mistakes. Altogether, Anderson showcased the full package as a safety, versatile, physical, and playmaking, making him one of the most impactful defenders on the field.

Reigning KYMSFA Region 1, Division 3 Player of the Year, Tyren Anderon, absolutely catapulted up my list of 2030 prospects in Kentucky with his showing at the 2026 BOTR tournament. He caught my eye immediately during warmups because of his long frame and then watching just his first few plays cemented it for me. His biggest play of the weekend came on 40-yard (give or take) scoop and score for a touchdown during the consolation game victory over Region 1.
