Thole lands at Mona Shores by way of Portage Northern. He will replace [player_tooltip player_id='602245' first='Jonathan' last='Pittman'], who is taking his talents to Hope College.

I'm interested in seeing how the Mona Shores offense changes with Joe at Quarterback. On tape, Joe seems like a pro-style passer through and through. In contrast, Jonathan was a powerful, athletic QB who was utilized in the run game several times per game. Joe could still run those plays from time to time, but I think his biggest strength is passing from the pocket.

I hope to see Joe hit the ground running next season. He'll play a slightly more difficult schedule, which include a number of great secondaries. I know he can throw a good deep ball, I know Joe can throw at awkward arm angles, and I know he's done well this offseason. Sharpen that axe in the coming months, hopefully come up with an offer or two, then ball out during the Fall!

Knight is the presumptive QB1 for Detroit King next season. Coming from Sterling Heights Stevenson, Andrew was a major bright spot for a team that's struggled in the extremely talented MAC Red.

The silver lining here is that Andrew has a TON of experience against great, physical defenses. King's strength of schedule (at least in the regular season) will be a downgrade to SH Stevenson. So, I expect Andrew to play lights-out against many conference opponents. On the flip side, King is going to play Cass Tech (probably twice), a few good teams in the playoffs, and King usually schedules a tough Week 1.

I'm looking for Knight to play like he's never played before. As a freshman, Andrew was lights-out as a pocket passer. I've always been impressed with how quickly Andrew got the ball out.

I'm looking forward to seeing Knight play with a different supporting cast. It's a completely different team, but a great opportunity, and a ton of weapons.

Braylon is getting his opportunity at Grand Rapids Northview after spending his first two years at Hudsonville.

This is a Quarterback with all of the tools, but time will tell whether he's a great Varsity QB. Braylon is an experienced 7on7 player who can read the field and get the ball out quickly. Plus, his arm strength, throw power, and accuracy are right where they need to be. There's a little bit of a dual-threat ability there, too.

My gut feeling is that Braylon will go through some ups and downs next season. Week 1 against West Catholic will be one of the most difficult tests of the season- I'm looking forward to that one. Other than that, Northview has a balanced schedule with another big test against GRCC during Week 8. Let's see if Braylon can hit the ground running early with Northview and lead this team back into the playoffs.

From one great program to another. Last year at Brother Rice, Jerrimiah put up some incredible highlights. Next year at River Rouge, the sky is the limit.

Jerrimiah has rare hands and body control for any high school football player, let alone a Class of 2028. As a downfield physical threat, Jerrimiah is one of the best in the country. Where he can still improve is release, change of direction, and short-intermediate route running.

He reminds me a lot of Michigan State Star and River Rouge alum Nick Marsh. Jerrimiah has a similar build, and a similar skillset. On paper, Jerrimiah's ceiling is just as high as Nick's. Let's see if he can get there!

Another player that goes from one great program to another. Ryan played his freshman ball at Orchard Lake St. Mary's, but now, he's backing up [player_tooltip player_id='909904' first='Jake' last='Morrow'] at Grand Blanc.

Ryan's highlights on Youtube show a good skillet, but it's still apparent that he still has room to grow (literally and figuratively). I love that Ryan can sling it. Even though he's undersized, Ryan is able to sling it downfield with impressive throw power. You can't throw the ball that effectively without good mechanics, and Ryan has far better mechanics than most 2028s. Lastly, Ryan can run the ball when needed. I wouldn't call Ryan a dual-threat just yet, but that's an area that he can consistently improve over the next few years.

Excited to see Ryan's growth. I'll probably see catch him at a camp this offseason, then, it's looking like Ryan could be Grand Blanc's QB1 as soon as 2026.
