Another player that goes from one great program to another. Ryan played his freshman ball at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s, but now, he’s backing up

Ryan’s highlights on Youtube show a good skillet, but it’s still apparent that he still has room to grow (literally and figuratively). I love that Ryan can sling it. Even though he’s undersized, Ryan is able to sling it downfield with impressive throw power. You can’t throw the ball that effectively without good mechanics, and Ryan has far better mechanics than most 2028s. Lastly, Ryan can run the ball when needed. I wouldn’t call Ryan a dual-threat just yet, but that’s an area that he can consistently improve over the next few years.
Excited to see Ryan’s growth. I’ll probably see catch him at a camp this offseason, then, it’s looking like Ryan could be Grand Blanc’s QB1 as soon as 2026.

A class of 2028 QB who seems to be working very hard this offseason. I can’t find any highlights from the 2024 season, but he has a handful of clips on Twitter from the past couple of months.
First off, Ryan’s mechanics are consistent. Still a few things to clean up but they are consistent- can’t say that about too many QBs in this class. In addition, I like the velocity behind his throws.
An overall good freshman prospect who could earn Varsity time next season if the cards fall in his favor.

Out of all of the unranked QBs, Ryan may have the best arm.
I can base most of my observations on Ryan’s 8th-grade highlight tape. Although it is quite short, it shows enough for me to get a good idea of his current skill set. Right now, I’d describe Ryan as a great improviser who also has good arm talent. Most of Ryan’s best highlights have him scrambling outside the pocket before delivering a strike to a downfield receiver. Those strikes are all fairly accurate, and all have good power behind them. I’m also extremely accurate that Ryan has improved since last fall, as he has plenty of offseason film on twitter. It may be a while before Ryan is QB1 for St. Mary’s, but I’m confident he’ll perform well once he earns his Varsity spot!
