Was able to watch AA Elite's Angelo LaPrade on about three to four occasions this past weekend. As quick and subtle as ever. The ideal weapon to deploy underneath 15 yards. Just too quick at the LOS to keep a hold of, was open early and often covered only if QBs were late to see him. Had a few eye-opening grabs downfield, a young man who once came to a PA showcase and dominated competition. Never a surprise to see him perform well in a setting like this one. Below is a passing comp of his QB, you can see several LaPrade catches inside said video.

Repped New Jersey Rated this past weekend. Have video clips of him playing both sides of the ball, both wideout and safety. McNair caught my attention after reeling in an out-of-bounds pass with one hand. McNair, who self-lists as an athlete, proved he could be a viable cover guy at safety while also providing New Jersey Rated with some offense. I appreciated his two-way performance. In the attached video, you can see McNair (#7) reel in a few balls.

Didn't get to see Kingdom Way at length this past weekend, yet I came away impressed as usual by a familiar face in Jordyn Eaton. Participating in 18U ball, Eaton still was able to make many opposing DBs look small beside his build. Jams, hand-fights, pesky DBs didn't have much luck trying to deter Eaton off of his routes. Eaton's muscular and uses his physique to his advantage, I can attest to this after watching him work for two/three games. Had I been able to watch Eaton a bit closer, it's likely he'd be higher on this list.

Kennett's Carbajal looked impressive, representing Philly's Finest. Carries a back type of build, PF coaches had Carbajal working routes out of the backfield almost exclusively, this beside talented athlete [player_tooltip player_id='648177' first='Jahmir' last='Brown']. Carbajal worked well in tandem with Archbishop Carroll's [player_tooltip player_id='1183375' first='Christopher' last='Sponburgh'], as well as teammate at Kennett HS [player_tooltip player_id='1083270' first='Garrett' last='McCracken']. Soft hands, transitioned from wideout to play maker quickly. Worked backer zones well when tasked with doing so. Love what I saw out of the sophomore athlete.

I didn't get to watch Pollard as much as I would have liked, as I had PF Purple on my schedule just one time. That being said, I'm well aware of Pollard's abilities. Other scouts present raved about his performance, stating Pollard to be too much to handle for smaller DBs. An extensive catch radius that went above his head and far below the belt. I bore witness to a one-handed grab toward the back of the end zone, further proving my previous evaluation speaking well about Pollard's concentration skills. Pollard was a pleasant surprise on a PF Purple team loaded with underclassmen talent.
