Carlo got his feet wet with the varsity last season, completing all six of his passing attempts for 97 yards and rushing for a pair of touchdowns. With a senior starter ahead of him on the depth chart graduating, he has a line on the No. 1 gig heading into 2025. Carlo flashes his potential during his sophomore highlight video. The left-hander utilizes his mobility and slick feet to evade the rush, keeping plays alive off schedule. Carlo throws accurately on the move and does a nice job keeping his eyes down field as the play unfolds. He'll take off and gain yards on the ground if he sees open running lanes. Carlo can spin the ball into tight windows.

In a program flush with talent and a history of strong play at quarterback, La Cava saw time on varsity but spent much of last season developing on the junior varsity. He brings good size and a big arm to the position as we can witness when watching his sophomore highlight video. La Cava isn't a statue, showing mobility in the pocket and creative ways to pass when under pressure. He's athletic and quick enough to gain yards on the ground if the running lanes open up.

Chew contributed all around the field as a Mustang sophomore in 2024. He threw for seven touchdowns, rushed for another score and caught two TDs. On defense, he contributed 36.0 tackles (27 solo, 1.0 TFL). He also returned kicks and punts. Chew's sophomore highlight video lends insight into how he gets the job done. Operating out of the shotgun, Chew sets up in the pocket and zips the ball into tight windows. He's a good athlete that can evade the rush or gain yards on the ground.

Daale enjoyed a solid season as a sophomore starter in 2024. He completed 64.7 percent of his throws for 1,023 yards and nine touchdowns against three interceptions. Daale rushed for 657 yards (6.0 YPC) and five scores. His sophomore video highlights are promising. Daale is a dual-threat quarterback. He throws a nice deep ball and gets it out quick. Designed runs put Daale in position to employ his speed and elusiveness. A few of his Lion predecessors at the position have been recruited at other positions, and Daale's athleticism should keep that door open.

With veterans ahead of him on the quarterback depth chart in 2024, Daggett developed on the JV. He flashes intriguing potential during his sophomore highlight video. Arm strength isn't an issue for Daggett, who spins it well on deep balls and on underneath routes. He operates comfortably in the pocket when under pressure as well as when he's rolling out. Daggett throws with accuracy on the move. He functions effectively out of the shotgun or under center.

Deemer was a key contributor as a sophomore for a Bedford outfit that reached the second round of the playoffs. He rushed for 195 yards (5.6 YPC) and five touchdowns. On defense, he contributed 25.0 tackles (16 solo, 8.0 TFL) and a pair of sacks. During his sophomore highlight video, we witness a battering ram of a running back. His legs churn and defenders bounce off of them. They know Deemer is coming and still struggle to stop him. He also shows some wiggle and burst. It's a skill set that would work at other positions as well.
