Valley leaned heavily on defense and special teams during its run back to the UNI-Dome in 2025. Harne was an integral part of the success for the latter. The junior recorded 28 touchbacks on 67 kickoffs. He knocked 47 of 50 extra-points through the uprights and connnected on six of 11 field-goal tries with a long of 43 yards. The performance carried over from the expert instruction received at the Midwest Kicking Camp last June. Harne's 11th-grade highlight video shows us how he gets the job done. It opens with his 43-yard field goal against Dowling Cathlic in the Class 5A state semifinals. The operation was smooth and the leg mighty, the ball easily clearing the distance. Harne's power is a positive. It gives him a sizable ceiling he can reach with more reps increasing accuracy.

Ishangulunga is an interesting prospect in that his junior highlight video reveals an impactful player at multiple positions. Right now, those are punter and place kicker. According to Bound, Ishangulungu handled those duties for Marshalltown in 2025. He converted his lone field-goal try from 38 yards out and four of five extra-point attempts. Ishangulungua kicked off 29 times with one touchback, and averaged 35.3 yards on 10 punts. Clips reveals that he's adept at directional punting and a powerful leg on kickoffs. On top of that, we witness Ishangulungu proving effective on offense and defense. He's physical carrying the ball or when getting off blocks to make a tackle.

Longmeyer was a reliable target for a Glenwood outfit that reached the postseason in 2025. The junior hauled in 21 balls for 276 yards and two touchdowns for an offense with a lot of mouths to feed. A pancake spoke to a willingness and ability to block. Longmeyer also chipped in on special teams, averaging 14.3 yards on three kick returns. Longmeyer illustrates how he get the job done during his 11th-grade highlight video. He's a versatile receiver at his best when he's catching short passes and making defenders miss in space. Longmeyer runs crisp routes and gets into and out of breaks quickly. He lists defensive back as a secondary position, and his short-space athleticism would work in the secondary.

North Scott returned to the postseason in 2025 with Schlichting playing an important part in the Lancers' offensive backfield committee. He rushed 34 times for 202 yards (5.9 YPC) and four touchdowns. Schlichting added four receptions for 32 yards. He chipped in 2.5 tackles, two of which were solo stops. His 11th-grade highlight video focuses on his talents carrying the ball. The first clip features himtaking an inside handoff in the redzone and picking the way through traffic on the way to pay dirt. It foreshadowed the rest of the film, where vision and sharp cutting leads to big gains through the traffic. There's speed in the open field, too.

Davenport Central reached the playoffs in a full-season for first time since 2015 this past year. Shorter was integral in the team's success. Fifteen of his 17.5 tackles were solo stops. Shorter also delivered four interceptions, six passes defended, 3.5 tackles for loss and a forced fumble. The junior highlight video contains a flexible cornerback capable of locking up in coverage. He's effective in press or dropping back in man or zone. It's a smooth backpedal and change of direction. Shorter supports the run well and can be a special team's asset with his skill set.

Operating in a program with a deep roster and history of producing prospects for the next level, Vanzuiden could be described as a role player for the Spartans in 2025. He rushed for 98 yards and a touchdown, and caught a pass. Vanzuiden averaged 23.5 yards on two kick returns and added a tackle. When we watch his junior highlight video, there's potential for success in larger role next fall. The early clips feature his knack for picking up yards between the tackles. It's a combination of getting downhill quickly, sharp cutting and more power than would be expected from the frame. Vanzuiden's abilities would work at other positions, too.
