Longmeyer set the stage for what can be a breakout 2026 season at Glenwood with a solid junior campaign last fall. The long-limbed wideout ranked third behind two seniors with 21 receptions for 276 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He threw in a pancake block and also flashed potential as a returner. I saw Longmeyer running with the Nebraska Select 7even 18U at the Back 2 Ballin High 2026 7v7 Tournament during the middle of April in Cedar Falls. He was standing out both ways thanks to athleticism, speed and good instincts. It all came together in fluidity, whether he was catching passes or defending them. Longmeyer uses his body well as a receiver, playing angles for an advantage on the opponent. He closes well with smooth actions as a member of the secondary. Longmeyer is a kid flying a bit under the recruiting radar right now relative to talent, but a strong summer at college camps and a step forward in the fall should change that.

Longmeyer was a reliable target for a Glenwood outfit that reached the postseason in 2025. The junior hauled in 21 balls for 276 yards and two touchdowns for an offense with a lot of mouths to feed. A pancake spoke to a willingness and ability to block. Longmeyer also chipped in on special teams, averaging 14.3 yards on three kick returns. Longmeyer illustrates how he get the job done during his 11th-grade highlight video. He’s a versatile receiver at his best when he’s catching short passes and making defenders miss in space. Longmeyer runs crisp routes and gets into and out of breaks quickly. He lists defensive back as a secondary position, and his short-space athleticism would work in the secondary.
