Jayden Daale Jayden Daale 6'0" | 197 lbs | QB Central Lyon | 2027 IA ‘s numbers haven’t been through the roof, but he’s been quietly proving capable as a signal-caller for the Lions over the last 2 seasons. 2025 was a step back from his sophomore season, throwing for 885 yards, 7 TDs, and 4 INTs while rushing for 414 yards (4.5 YPC) and 5 rushing TDs as the team fell to 2-6. It was a jarring drop-off, but perhaps expected after Daale lost two of his top receivers from the previous season. Daale flashes great size and athleticism for the position, putting nice touch and placement on his throws, and showed an exceptional knack of timing and being able to place his passes through some really tight windows over the course of the season. Daale will look to rebound in his senior season and help push the Lions back into playoff contention.

In what ended up a time to reload at Central Lyon/George-Little Rock, Daale successfully handled the team’s quarterbacking duties in 2025. He completed 61 percent of his throws for 885 yards and seven touchdowns against four interceptions in eight games. Daale rushed for 414 yards (4.5 YPC) and five scores. He took a step forward since Prep Redzone Iowa’s last evaluation about a year ago. Daale reported adding weight and strength. We can see the benefits of his work in the weight room when watching his junior highlights. A compact operation leads to a quick release with zip. Daale sees the field well and gets through his progressions promptly. He smoothly sells the play-fake and moves well in scrambling or gaining yards on the ground. Daale is on a good trajectory and one to watch this fall.

Daale enjoyed a solid season as a sophomore starter in 2024. He completed 64.7 percent of his throws for 1,023 yards and nine touchdowns against three interceptions. Daale rushed for 657 yards (6.0 YPC) and five scores. His sophomore video highlights are promising. Daale is a dual-threat quarterback. He throws a nice deep ball and gets it out quick. Designed runs put Daale in position to employ his speed and elusiveness. A few of his Lion predecessors at the position have been recruited at other positions, and Daale’s athleticism should keep that door open.
