Calvin Videon Perino might've had his 2024 season cut short, but what he put on tape was enough to turn heads. The 5'11”, 205-pound two-way standout from Point Pleasant Borough makes his presence felt in all three phases. As a running back, he brings solid contact balance and shows good burst in space. He runs hard, breaks tackles, and makes defenders pay at the second level.

Perino has found a way to shine as a pass-catcher in a Wing-T offense—something not easy in a system built for the run. Whether slipping out on wheel routes or getting vertical down the seam, he creates mismatches and consistently produces after the catch. He even added a blocked punt to his résumé on special teams, a testament to his effort and nose for the football.

Defensively, he's just as active. From the linebacker spot, Perino plays with intensity and instinct. He scans keys, sniffs out screens, and closes with authority. He's a sure tackler in space and disrupts timing as a blitzer.

If he stays healthy in 2025, expect Perino to be one of the most impactful all-around players in South Jersey. He has the toughness, IQ, and motor that coaches love.

[player_tooltip player_id='910052' first='Esa' last='Wittingburg'] is a name more people need to know heading into 2025. The 6'3”, 210-pound edge rusher brings a rare mix of size, athleticism, and technique for a young player. You can tell he's been developed correctly—his pass-rush arsenal is more advanced than most at this stage. On tape, he shows flashes of spin moves, swims, and rips, all while staying controlled and disciplined in his approach.

What separates Esa is his football IQ. He doesn't just crash off the edge without purpose—he diagnoses plays, stays home when needed, and reacts with patience. He consistently makes the right decisions, whether reading a screen, setting the edge, or crashing down on a pulling guard.

His production speaks for itself—eight sacks, ten tackles for loss—and he still hasn't scratched the surface. With Lehigh and Morgan State offers, Wittingburg feels like a player whose stock will rise fast. Another big season could solidify him as one of the top defensive players in North Jersey. Keep him on your radar.

[player_tooltip player_id='1658068' first='Oluwasemilore' last='Olubobola'] is one of the most physically impressive linemen in the 2027 class. Standing at 6'6”, 275 pounds with an 86-inch wingspan, he's a towering presence with the kind of frame college coaches dream about. But it's not just about size—Olubobola shows flashes of advanced technique that hint at his massive upside.

He bends well for his size, stays low out of his stance, and keeps his hands inside with a strong understanding of leverage. You rarely see holding penalties on his film because his aiming points and hand placement are already well developed. He's still raw overall, but the coaching is there.

His balance, footwork, and punch timing have room to grow, but the foundation is solid. In one-on-one situations, especially as a run blocker, he's tough to move. He can anchor down and use that stout lower half to win against stronger defenders.

With offers from Florida, Penn State, Texas A&M, Rutgers, Duke, and Boston College, it's only a matter of time before more Power Five schools join the mix. As the season progresses, expect Oluwasemilore's stock to rise—and his name to climb up recruiting boards across the country.

Ibrahim Adisa is a name to keep an eye on this fall. At 6'0”, 190 pounds, he brings a robust, compact build and surprising athleticism to the field. Whether he's lined up at strong safety or linebacker, Adisa plays fast and physical. He gets downhill quickly, fills gaps with confidence, and has no hesitation taking on blocks to make tackles behind the line.

What stands out most is how he flies around. He's got a thick upper body, primarily through the shoulders, and uses that frame to play through contact. While still raw and new to the position, the instincts are coming along, and the motor is already there.

On the offensive side, he's also shown flashes at wide receiver. That versatility could become a big part of his game as he grows into the role. Don't be surprised if Adisa takes on a more significant offensive workload this season.

Josh Missick, out of Ewing High School, is poised to turn heads in 2025. At 5'8”, 190 pounds, he brings a compact, robust frame to the backfield and thrives between the tackles. His low center of gravity, paired with strong legs and good initial burst, makes him challenging to bring down once he hits the hole.

His ability to follow blocks and stay patient within the run scheme stands out. He understands the concept, waits for lanes to develop, and then attacks purposefully. While he may not have elite top-end speed, his vision, footwork, and feel for the game more than make up for it.

He's also no stranger to the defensive side of the ball, but it's at running back where he consistently makes his mark. With his senior season approaching, Missick has the experience, toughness, and football IQ to emerge as one of the breakout backs in Central Jersey.
