This last weekend the 2025 Prep Redzone Nationals 7v7 event took place in the backdrop of the NFL Hall Of Fame in Canton, Ohio. The Hall of Fame is the pinnacle of player achievements in the game of football. There were 37 18u teams who embarked on Canton looking to walk away with a Prep Redzone 18U championship and catch the eye of our scouts along the way. Today starts a series of articles on players who I felt stood out among their peers this weekend. Today we talk about the quarterbacks who caught my eye. There was a lot of solid talent in a range of ages at the position.

I came away really impressed with what I saw from Flaitz. He made play after play while taking care of the ball. You saw both the arm strength and accuracy to make the intermediate throws as well as the shot plays. At the same time, I never felt like he forced a ball into coverage or saw him throw an interception. He had a command and a great feel for how to attack the defense in front of him.

Ambrose helped lead Beat The Odds 7v7 team to a 2-1 pool play record and all the way to the quarterfinals of bracket play. The 2027 QB had a nice day throwing the ball. He focused more on the intermediate to short stuff. He was on time and accurate in the timing routes. One of the things that really stood out to me was Braddock's drive and competitiveness. He expected a lot of himself and most of the time he got it.

This my second chance getting to see Moore play, the other being the Hoosier State Hustle. The athletic lefty again showed off solid arm strength and the ability to drive the ball into window.

It was really impressive watching D'Agosta play up to the 18u level as a freshman and totally hold his own. He has a live arm and can really sling it. That velocity and ability to drive the ball will only improve as he continues to grow and fill out. Maybe even more impressive to me was what Dom did from above the shoulders. He consistently knew where to go with the ball to attack defenses and throw guys open. Really next level stuff for a young quarterback.

Bernhard had a nice weekend coming off the heels of committing to App State. Nathan is easily the 6'5 and 230 he's listed at. He has the arm talent to make all of the throws look easy. He throws a really catchable ball and has the big-time velocity to drive it into windows. He shows the touch to make the harder throws like the fade. The Mountaineers are getting a good one!

The first thing I noticed while watching Williams throw was the young man can flat out spin it. I don't have any data to support it, but my eyes would tell me that Jordan consistently the highest rotational speed of any quarterback in attendance. That ability to spin it becomes crucial when you're talking about playing in windy and cold weather. In the playing time I saw he put the ball in good spots where only his guy could get it.

At 6'4 200 pounds, Vandellow has the size and the frame of a typical pro style quarterback. He had a solid arm and did a good job of distributing the ball. He showed good feet and a smooth delivery.
