Throwing with a quick release and having outstanding poise in the pocket provided major dividends on tape. No doubt he is a dependable presence under center.

Flaitz dominated in limited time during his Sophomore season, with a full year in front of him, I have no doubt the Hornell star will breakout in Section Five.

I came away really impressed with what I saw from Flaitz. He made play after play while taking care of the ball. You saw both the arm strength and accuracy to make the intermediate throws as well as the shot plays. At the same time, I never felt like he forced a ball into coverage or saw him throw an interception. He had a command and a great feel for how to attack the defense in front of him.

Flaitz fits the mold of a QB who can play at the next level at 6’2 180 – he has good arm strength, and he shows he can put some zip on his short and intermediate throws. He looks like a solid athlete on tape, although you do not see him under pressure too often, so only a handful of throws while moving.

Thought on tape that Flaitz was a good decision-maker. Obviously, you only see the good in highlights, but I thought he looked confident in his reads and consistently delivered the ball in rhythm.

Hitting his targets on the move was not an easy task, but many times, Flaitz was able to hit those touch throws over the sticks. I do like the arm strength that Flaitz possesses as he was able to push the football down the field for intermediate gains. Roll-outs were a big part of Flitz’s game. Standing in the pocket to go through multiple progressions will be a goal for Flaitz moving forward and I think he can hit that goal. Finding his go to WR in Austyn Gollnitz Austyn Gollnitz 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Hornell | 2025 State NY was huge but Flaitz was able to spread the ball around when he needed to with favorable matchups.
