92. Brody Falitz-Hornell

Flaitz saw his ranking increase around 30 spots in the latest rankings update. He is a true-dual threat playmaker who holds two offers from Wagner and Edinboro. Flaitz shows good anticipation as a QB, and moves through his progressions well showing good decision making skills. At 6’2″ 190-Pounds, he has a solid frame for a QB, and he is a physical and tough runner, who takes multiple players to stop him in his tracks. Flaitz is a rising prospect in the state of New York and his skillset is reaching colleges. I expect a few more offers to roll his way shortly.

Flaitz is a true athlete, and he uses his legs, arm and IQ to create plays for his squad in order to win games. I like his ability to navigate through the pocket and he shows good footwork and vision downfield seeing and reading the defense. He understands spots and the best ways to get the ball to his playmakers, throwing guys open with his pinpoint accuracy and strong arm. Flaitz showcases the ability to move downfield with his play style and he can even use his legs to escape the pocket and create big time plays. His IQ, sets him apart, and his utilization of it makes him a true threat at the QB position.

Brody Flaitz Brody Flaitz 6'2" | 190 lbs | QB Hornell | 2027 State NY is a big, sturdy, and athletic QB that was able to make some huge throws in critical moments for Hornell. Particularly, his ability to escape the pocket and make accurate off-platform throws with touch was a major highlight. Reading the field and hitting receivers in stride, especially on deep balls, would show up. In like manner, Flaitz was able to show up in clutch positions with both his arms and his legs. Throwing with a quick release and having outstanding poise in the pocket provided major dividends on tape. No doubt he is a dependable presence under center.

In his Sophomore Season, he appeared in just five games. Despite his limited playing time, he still managed to shine on tape. He has a quick release and throws a fast ball. His accuracy is solid as is his arm strength. During reps he is seen leaving the pocket and throwing the ball downfield. He excels In this aspect as his footwork on the run is outstanding.

Flaitz dominated in limited time during his Sophomore season, with a full year in front of him, I have no doubt the Hornell star will breakout in Section Five.

I came away really impressed with what I saw from Flaitz. He made play after play while taking care of the ball. You saw both the arm strength and accuracy to make the intermediate throws as well as the shot plays. At the same time, I never felt like he forced a ball into coverage or saw him throw an interception. He had a command and a great feel for how to attack the defense in front of him.

Flaitz fits the mold of a QB who can play at the next level at 6’2 180 – he has good arm strength, and he shows he can put some zip on his short and intermediate throws. He looks like a solid athlete on tape, although you do not see him under pressure too often, so only a handful of throws while moving.

Thought on tape that Flaitz was a good decision-maker. Obviously, you only see the good in highlights, but I thought he looked confident in his reads and consistently delivered the ball in rhythm.

This QB stands in at 6’1” and weighs 165-pounds, and was able to make a lot of accurate deep throws near the sideline. Hitting his targets on the move was not an easy task, but many times, Flaitz was able to hit those touch throws over the sticks. I do like the arm strength that Flaitz possesses as he was able to push the football down the field for intermediate gains. Roll-outs were a big part of Flitz’s game. Standing in the pocket to go through multiple progressions will be a goal for Flaitz moving forward and I think he can hit that goal. Finding his go to WR in Austyn Gollnitz Austyn Gollnitz 6'0" | 185 lbs | ATH Hornell | 2025 State NY was huge but Flaitz was able to spread the ball around when he needed to with favorable matchups.
