Without further adieu, here are a batch of prospects within the position mentioned in the title that deserve a good look by all.

Solely do to the nature of the offense that they run, not often do I get to highlight Wing-T quarterbacks. However, Ridge did just enough passing this year for [player_tooltip player_id='1552339' first='Connor' last='McLachlan'] to catch my attention. Before I expand upon his ability as a passer, McLachlan has shown to be a very willing blocker on toss and, as paramount as it is in a Wing-T offense, carries out his fakes with a high degree of fidelity. When McLachlan breaks the pocket, he shows a burst of speed that makes him a legitimate threat. As a passer, we see that he can deliver the ball into a tight window and get the ball out roughly 55 yards through the air vertically, allowing teammates to run under it as they blow past defenders who bit on play action. In play action situations, McLachlan shows that he is very good as a rhythm thrower and is able to get enough juice on the ball when moving backwards.

It was probably a forgone conclusion that we would cover Jersey's top rated quarterback, State Gatorade Player of the Year, and record shatterer [player_tooltip player_id='1295981' first='Jack' last='Moran']. The thing that impressed me the most about Moran - and believe me, there was a lot - was how effortlessly and accurately he can throw across his body when moving to the left without setting his feet. For as natural and impressive as this is, when scrambling to his right, we find that Moran works his shoulders back perpendicular to the line of scrimmage, preferring to throw it and saving a scramble for his last resort. Additionally, he is athletic to the point where he can duck and evade free rushers with a full head of steam while getting his eyes back downfield to deliver strikes. He is very good at evading rushers with both a head of steam and who beat their matchup, showing pristine pocket presence. The longest throw I saw had vertical air distance of about 50 yards, but was an absolutely deliver a dime on the money to his receivers shoulder. Moran also seems confident in his pre-snap reads and gets the ball out very quickly after it is snapped. Finally, and perhaps what his receivers love most about him, is that For as natural and impressive as does not expose his receivers to unnecessary contact.

Out of Eastern Regional hails [player_tooltip player_id='1544675' first='Logan' last='Dawson'], who has ideal, prototypical quarterback size. Dawson transfers his weight well on his throws, even stepping up and into the deeper ones. Should he need to break the pocket and run around a bit, Dawson works to get his shoulders back perpendicular to deliver good throws. He also takes advantage of his receivers' catch radius, using all their size, length, and flexibility to his advantage. The art of the quarterback is something Dawson seems to adopt as well, as evidenced by him looking off defenders through his progression. Better than any other quarterback I watched this go-round, Dawson showcased good arm strength over the middle and touch on deeper wheel routes and mismatches against linebackers. Dawson also does a nice job of baiting defenders up when he breaks the pocket.
