Duel in the DMV 7v7: MD/DC QB Top Performers

He backed that ranking up this past weekend with his performance for Team Octane Platinum. Throughout the weekend Nyeem showed excellent accuracy, putting the ball in the right spot for the receiver. He showed control of the offense, playing in rhythm going through his reads and finding the open man. Nyeem also made some of the most impressive throws I saw over the event placing deep balls right over the defender with precision and zip for scores. Denari showed high level zip and velocity on his passes. Able to drive it down the field and fit the ball into tight windows as well as throw a bomb shot right on target, Denari made all the throws over the weekend. With a tall long frame and a smooth quick release for his length and a rifle for an arm makes him a very intriguing prospect going forward. I saw Jayden throw with timing and anticipation the whole weekend. Getting the ball out quick and knowing when to zip it in or put nice touch on the ball, Jayden always put it where only his WR could get it. He had a couple nice deep balls where he put it up layering over the defender with perfect placement for the WR to go up and get it. Jayden also showed impressive decision making with his passes, with limited turnover or bad throws. Smooth in his drop &amp; showing good footwork in the pocket, he was always throwing in rhythm. A smooth motion, Xavier throws a real catchable ball. Showing accuracy and a high understanding of the offense he was able to dot it all around the field to multiple receivers. Xavier is a high academic prospect holding a 4.0+ GPA and currently holds one offer from UPENN. You watch Justin in action and it is no surprise he is already committed to Syracuse and the #3 ranked QB in the 2027 class per PRZ Rankings. Justin can layer it over the defense with ease hitting his receivers in stride. He showed excellent accuracy in placement, putting the ball out there for his players to run under it and make the play. He is a QB who has no shortage of confidence in his throwing. From play one he will let it rip, throwing a dot down field for a TD. With a compact release, he get the ball out quick and with good zip. Can flick of the wrist let it fly with good anticipation and timing, getting it out early and letting his receiver run under it. Good arm strength, velocity and in pocket mechanics - Jaylin uses all of the field going through his reads to find the open guy. What impressed me the most was his Sunday performance was even better than on Saturday, and that was while facing tougher teams and dealing with strong winds. With a gun of an arm, Caydan throws darts and has a good over the top quick release that shoots the ball out. He gets real nice spin and velocity on his throws and they get to their target quick on his short to intermediate routes. He also plays 7v7 like it's a real game. getting his drop, manipulating the defense with shoulder/head movement while reading the whole field and going through his progressions. With prototypical size and length, as Caydan continues to fill out his frame and get stronger look for him to have some strong seasons over the next few years.
