Currently holding three Division I offers, from the University of Pennsylvania, Hampton University, and Georgetown University, Brookins is emerging as a name to watch in the 2025 class.

Brookins is an athletic quarterback with the arm strength to stretch the field and the touch to make precise throws across the middle and to the boundary. He’s shown the ability to take the top off the defense with deep shots, keeping secondaries honest. Equally impressive is his athleticism, he escapes pressure fluidly, extends plays on the move, and shows excellent body control, flipping his hips to deliver accurate throws while on the run.

With a blend of poise, mobility, and field vision, Brookins brings versatility to any offensive system. As his senior season approaches, expect more programs to take notice of his ability to create and finish plays at all levels of the field.

Solid QB and well worth tracking into senior year. Xavier already has Hampton, Georgetown, and UPenn offers. With a strong first 4 games should garner more interest. Love his pocket awareness and mobility when the play breaks down. He stays in pocket and keeps head downfield. He does a great job of anticipating collapse and scrambling for yards when necessary. Good play fakes and scrambling ability on RPOs as well. Player has good downfield accuracy and throws catchable passes with both touch and torque. Has velocity on ball within 20 yards but also takes something off when necessary. You would like to see a little more air under passes downfield, but if I were a receiver I would like catching his passes due to combination of velocity and touch. Repetitions with WRs can also alleviate this issue. His length, poise in the pocket, accuracy, and decision making, make him a solid D1 QB. High IQ kid , leader, it factor make me buy in. 15 TDs/4 Ints. Takes care of the football!!!

Brookins recently received his second Division I offer from Hampton University, following his first offer from the University of Richmond. He found a home at Pallotti as the starting quarterback, finishing the season with 1,289 yards and 14 touchdowns. Brookins possesses a strong arm and adds excellent touch to his deep ball, demonstrating the ability to make throws at every level of the field. After waiting for his opportunity, Brookins is now showcasing his talents and will be a player to watch closely next season.

Leading the NOS Elite team to the Elite 8 of the competition, Xavier was one of the most consistent QBs on the weekend. Smooth in his drop & showing good footwork in the pocket, he was always throwing in rhythm. A smooth motion, Xavier throws a real catchable ball. Showing accuracy and a high understanding of the offense he was able to dot it all around the field to multiple receivers. Xavier is a high academic prospect holding a 4.0+ GPA and currently holds one offer from UPENN. I expect him to have a strong camp season this summer and see many more schools reaching out to Xavier to be their QB of the future.
