PRZVA Stock Up Showcase: Top LB Performers

Jayvion also scored a 7.48 L Drill and 9'3" SBJ. That is a strong performance alone by Jayvion just on his combine testing. Pair that with a nice frame and length for a 29 Prospect, you can expect Jayvion to fill out will good muscle over the years &amp; be a yoked up long armed LB.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He shined in drill work. Showing rapid footwork and COD ability with burst out and a high motor/work rate. In 1v1s Jayvion was lockdown and really impressed me with his ability to play in space &amp; coverage. He stayed patient and didn't over commit on routes. Showing stellar balance and control. Knowing when to press up &amp; get physical, jamming RBs at the line and getting them off their routes. As well as knowing when he had to run the route, turn &amp; run to stay in phase on the receivers hips. Jayvion was excellent in making plays on the pass. He routinely made smart and explosive breaks on the ball for PBUs and an INT. Not sure if he lost a single rep in the passing 1v1s with the RBs.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Easily a top LB performer on the day, as well as one of the top overall performers on the day in my mind. Looks the part of a LB at 6'1" with a wide shoulder frame and hands to his knees with self reported 78" wingspan. In combine testings he posted the 8th best overall L-Drill score with a 7.03. That score translated throughout the day for Ethan as he displays outstanding COD ability and fluid hips. He also had a top 20 overall SBJ with 9'2". </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A polished LB prospect, Ethan went through drill work like a veteran. Smooth, fluid, fas and in control. While able to bend &amp; burst, re-direct quickly and looking like a high level athlete for the position. During 1v1s Ethan showed he is a dominant coverage LB as well. Something I had seen from him on film/live in game as well, he showed that once again in the camp setting. Knew to stay balanced with quick feet and in control, not over jumping routes or getting turned around. Ethan displayed great instincts in coverage. Would jump routes, under cutting the RB to the ball. He also has nice ball skills for a LB, getting multiple pass break ups and an impressive INT as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A complete LB prospect, able to play outside or inside...Ethan has the size, build and athleticism to be a highly recruited player. I recently just had him as the #4 LB prospect in the updated 2027 MD/DC/DE rankings and this performance more than backed up that ranking. Measuring in with great size at 6'3" and a yoked up 193lbs, Blake passes the eye ball test. Predominantly an edge rusher in 2025, he showed why he was successful in the role with a 7.04 L-Drill score. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>During position drills and 1v1's Blake showed he was not just an edge backer but can play in space and off ball or slide in as an ILB. In drill work Blake displayed rapid footwork, getting up &amp; down with eyes up and sinked stable hips and then exploding through the finish. One of the main questions poised to Blake in the pre-showcase article was how can he hold up in 1v1s....and he answered that question with flying colors. Was in control showing fluid hips and controlled physicality in coverage. Blake showed a good eye for the ball, able to turn &amp; find the ball on vertical routes or make strong breaks to undercut routes. He got his hands on multiple passes for PBUs. The only thing I would like to see him improve on his hands in coverage as he had a few passes where he put himself in perfect position for the INT and just couldn't come up with it. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As a 2028 prospect, Blake is a prospect that is poised for a big junior season next fall. A thick build good size ILB at 6'1' 214lbs. Xavier is overall an LB with physicality and fluidity. He also showed loose hips, with good change or direct and burst - scoring the 11th highest overall shuttle score with a 4.67. Able to hold his ground in 1v1s, Xavier using his balance and strength to keep RBs in front of him and out physical them for the ball. You can tell through his drill work and how he finished 1v1s reps, Xavier knows how to sink his hips breakdown and make good tackles. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">With a strong standout performance at the Showcase, this is the start to what I expect will be an eye-opening spring/summer for colleges coaches in regards to Xaiver's game. He was very impressive in position drill work. Correctly running them like he was a veteran, and doing so with good pace and athleticism. He gets his feet chopping and legs up &amp; down with pace and can dip, turn, and burst out of COD moves. Ben was also very in control of his movements. Smooth, eyes up, balances and in control. Never stumbling over his feet in drills or getting turned wrong &amp; beat in 1v1s. He has the instincts and mind set of a high level LB already even as a freshman. Benjamin showed good athleticism in 1v1s as well. Able to turn and run with the RBs and stay in phase. If Ben can just fill out his frame and continue to develop his game as he has shown to already be doing so, he will be a camp top performer for years to come.
