Xavier Carter Xavier Carter 6'1" | 214 lbs | LB/ATH Herndon | 2027 VA was a top-performing linebacker at the showcase. He earned a 2nd team selection. He has great size (6’1″) and moves well. During individual drills, you saw him excel. He was able to move well and looked dominant at times. Carter’s athleticism is impressive, along with his strength. He is currently not ranked, but he is a stock riser who should be ranked. He is that good of a player.

Xavier Carter Xavier Carter 6'1" | 214 lbs | LB/ATH Herndon | 2027 VA was a first team all district linebacker this past season, so I really should not be surprised he was a top performer last weekend. His performance during the Individual drills and 1vs1 really was his best work. He tested well with a solid 40 time and good broad jump, but where Carter flashed the most was during the Individual session. He is 6’1 214 pounds and he moves like he wants to play at the Division 2 level. I erroneously missed ranking him in our last update, trust me Carter cannot be ignored any longer.

Xavier was a surprise top performer on the the day, really showing that he will be one to watch in 2027 for his senior year. A thick build good size ILB at 6’1′ 214lbs. Xavier is overall an LB with physicality and fluidity. He also showed loose hips, with good change or direct and burst – scoring the 11th highest overall shuttle score with a 4.67. Able to hold his ground in 1v1s, Xavier using his balance and strength to keep RBs in front of him and out physical them for the ball. You can tell through his drill work and how he finished 1v1s reps, Xavier knows how to sink his hips breakdown and make good tackles.

With a strong standout performance at the Showcase, this is the start to what I expect will be an eye-opening spring/summer for colleges coaches in regards to Xaiver’s game. Pair his skill set with also being a strong academic prospect with a 3.8 GPA I can see him being a look for Patriot level schools.
