At this time last year, we were writing about Bixby lineman [player_tooltip player_id='528027' first='Kaeden' last='Penny'] from a defensive perspective. His recruitment was starting to take off with a handful of offers and he was quickly becoming a name we needed to know about within the state's 2027 class. Fast forward to now and Penny is the top offensive lineman prospect in the class. Honestly, he would still be a top ten overall guy if he was listed on the defensive side of the ball. But Penny's stock has risen the most on the offensive line and specifically at the left tackle position. Bixby has spent the last decade winning state championships and churning out D1 offensive linemen. Penny could be the next guy. We know he already has a very high reputation among the Bixby coaches and he checks a lot of boxes as an absolute monster up front.

When we look back at the Jenks offensive line in 2024, you will probably see three starters that eventually land at the D1 level. The youngest of that group is [player_tooltip player_id='527903' first='Odaefe' last='Oruru'] and out of those three starters, it's Oruru who might have the highest ceiling moving forward as a true college prospect. That doesn't mean he's the best right now because it looks like he's just scratching the surface on what he can be but there is no doubt that the potential is there. Oruru lined up at one of the offensive tackle positions in 2024 and it fit him very nicely, considering he's a long but athletic guy that does an excellent job of keeping defensive ends out of the backfield. Moving forward, Oruru is going to be a name to know and he's one of a handful of prospects that will be knocking on the door of the top ten this year.

Things are starting to take off for Stillwater offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1140727' first='Paxton' last='Pitchford'] as he recently picked up his first offer and it's probably not going to slow down anytime soon. Stillwater has some serious talent in the younger classes and Pitchford is a big part of that with this 2027 group. We started watching him during his freshman year and he's always really impressed us. And it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone considering Stillwater has just had a knack for producing big and strong offensive linemen that will inevitably end up at the next level. It looks like Pitchford is the next guy on that path for the Pioneers. Pitchford is definitely a name that we'll be watching a little more closely, specifically in the spring as the Pioneers begin preparation for what could be a big 2025 campaign.

We finish up this breakdown with Coweta offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='734696' first='Hunter' last='Reavis'] and out of the four guys on this breakdown, he's probably the guy that we've known about the longest. And the thing that we really like about Reavis and what separates him from some of the other guys in this class is a relentless work ethic. In the big picture, we've only seen him a handful of times in person. But every time we see him, he's better than he was the last time and he's routinely one of the best when it comes to a technique perspective. And the only way those two things happen is a relentless work ethic to get better. Reavis is definitely a name to remember within this class and he's going to end up being arguably the most experienced offensive lineman in the state's 2027 class when it's all said and done.
