Wilson has the potential to be a breakout candidate this upcoming season if he can limit turnovers. He passed for 1,560 yards and 10 touchdowns but also threw 13 interceptions, an area he will need to improve. A true dual threat quarterback, Wilson adds value with his legs, rushing for 217 yards and two touchdowns. With a 53% completion rate, he now has a year of experience to refine his game and bounce back stronger. Expect him to be a stock-watch player heading into the season, especially as he gains valuable reps on the 7 on 7 circuit or through offseason programs this summer.

Espinoza turned heads with his performances, throwing for 1,234 yards, nine touchdowns and six interceptions while completing over 55% of his passes. His true impact, however, came on the ground, where he rushed for 340 yards and found the end zone seven times, bringing his total touchdowns to 16. A dangerous runner when he reaches the perimeter, Espinoza possesses the speed to outrun defenders and extend plays. He excels in the intermediate passing game and is accurate when throwing on the run, allowing his receivers to make plays after the catch. With his toughness in the pocket and ability to deliver under pressure, he is a strong breakout candidate who could emerge as a key playmaker this season.

McWhirter showcased efficiency at the quarterback position, completing nearly 60% of his passes for 1,156 yards, 15 touchdowns, and just 5 interceptions. A true pocket passer, McWhirter thrives in timing based routes and excels in the quick passing game, getting the ball out of his hands in a hurry. His ability to drive off his back foot and deliver precise throws makes him a reliable presence in the pocket. He demonstrates strong anticipation, consistently hitting receivers as they come out of their breaks. Expect McWhirter to build on his success and establish himself as a rising name in 2A football this upcoming season.

Hopwood is a pocket passer with impressive elusiveness, capable of evading defenders and extending plays. While his efficiency took a hit last season, he still managed to throw for 1,071 yards and 15 touchdowns while limiting turnovers to just 6 interceptions. If he can improve his accuracy this offseason, he has the tools to become a true breakout prospect. Hopwood possesses the arm strength to make every throw on the field and has the football IQ to avoid unnecessary risks when pushing the ball downfield. Look for him to take a significant step forward this season and emerge as a must know name in 2A.

Ingersoll is poised for a breakout season, and I'm making an early bold prediction, he will be the top quarterback in 3A this year, leading his team on a deep playoff run. Last season, he was the definition of efficiency, throwing for 843 yards and eight touchdowns without a single interception. Ingersoll can make every throw on the field with both arm strength and precision, consistently threading the needle and putting the ball where only his receivers can make a play. He also has the mobility to move the pocket, throw on the run, and pick up yardage when necessary. If he builds on his success, expect his stock to skyrocket, making him one of the most talked about prospects in 3A if he does.

Despite appearing in only five games, Lacy made a significant impact at the quarterback position, throwing for 511 yards, six touchdowns, and zero interceptions while completing 70% of his passes. His efficiency and poise suggest that he could be “the guy” heading into next season. Lacy possesses the arm strength to make all the necessary throws and the agility to evade pressure in the pocket. With another offseason to develop, he has a strong chance to take over the starting role and become a difference maker for his team. If he secures the job, his team will feature a potent offense capable of making noise in 4A.

Perkins is an elusive dual threat quarterback who can make plays with both his arm and legs. When he escapes the pocket, he has the speed and shiftiness to make defenders miss and pick up substantial yardage. He rushed for 862 yards and three touchdowns, proving his ability as a dynamic runner. While his passing numbers 673 yards, four touchdowns, three interceptions were modest, he excels in the intermediate game and can extend plays while keeping his eyes downfield. With a full offseason to refine his mechanics, expect Perkins to be a rising dual threat quarterback to watch closely this season.
