He has good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, balance, good speed, and acceleration. Hopwood has a strong arm to launch the ball downfield and a quick release. Very good pocket presence. He does a great job using his feet to make defenders miss and evade pressure. Stays poised under pressure. He has very good ball placement skills and touch. Good accuracy especially under pressure. Uses his feet to extend plays and hurt the defense with his dual threat ability. Very good throw on the run and good off-platform throws. I’m looking forward to seeing how he puts it all together his senior season.
