Is a baseball prospect over at Cedar Cliff. 3.8 GPA. 6'3, 225 pounds. Wouldn't be opposed to ranking Secrest as a pure "ATH" considering the number of quality reps he provides Cedar Cliff with at several different positions. A Division Two floor, an FCS ceiling in my opinion. It'll be up to Secrest's off-season development, whether or not he reaches his best self.

Diving into his sophomore tape, we'll put recruiting aside for a bit. If I were a betting man, I'd bet that Secrest gets recruited to play linebacker. 34 tackles, 11 of which went for losses, tack on four sacks too. I don't want to force a position on a kid who can play on the defensive line, a prospect who can block at fullback, a prospect who can catch 24 balls in ten games. Secrest scored on eight different occasions this past Fall, further proving his versatility. H-back/sniffer alignment is often seen on tape, a position/alignment that likely throws defensive match-ups in a blender. Can block in-line or after pre-snap motion behind the LOS. Is powerful enough to impact block against LBs and DBs. Can serve as a safety valve/flat option for his QB. Can play at the LOS as a 3-4 OLB. Secrest shows off the ability to score working seam benders from said sniffer position. Watching him score from 30-40 yards out, coupled with his comfortableness blocking and understanding of blocking schemes led me to rank him as a TE. We'll see where coaches like him best.

Earned substantial playing time as a sophomore pass-catcher at Central Catholic. Local buzz has surrounded [player_tooltip player_id='651151' first='Max' last='Roman'] since before his freshman year. Fast forward to today, the 12th-ranked sophomore wideout was able to catch 33 balls for 500+ receiving yards and 6 TDs. Fantastic option in two-man passing concepts, you can count on Roman to track the ball well down field and to catch the football away from his body. I've gone on record stating this in the past, this young man plays above his measurables. Roman has as soft hands as anyone in the state, that's a big statement. Fantastic transitioner, can catch the football and can morph into a play-maker seamlessly. Body control, hand-eye coordination, you name it, Roman outplays the first impressions his build provides. With two years left at PCC, I envision production will skyrocket, which will lead to FCS programs feeling comfortable enough to seriously recruit him. The talent is there, Roman is going to have to continue proving himself with each passing year, I have a feeling he'll do just that.

5'10, 170 pounds. 3.8 GPA. If measurabels hold true, Reid has officially shut-down H/W concerns in my opinion.

Tape starts off with an exemplary rep from a two-high safety look. Reid would read a vertical shot headed his way, range to get into position to come away with an easy interception. Reps like this shouldn't be taken for granted, not every sophomore DB can make ranging as a safety look this easy. I applaud his IQ too. Later throughout Reid' sophomore tape, you can witness more of what I've become accustomed too, that's Reid winning at outside corner. Some fantastic off-coverage reps, his feet and hips move with precision and intent. Strong hips combo'ed with powerful hand strikes make him a tough draw in the red zone. I'm impressed with Reid's ability to help out in run support. No longer do I think of Reid as a coverage athlete who can run with guys, Reid is filling out the entirety of his game and build. After watching his tape for a third time for this write-up, I am inclined to say that Reid should and could be ranked 20 spots higher than 88. This is an FCS-floor type of prospect. Happy to see him progress this far.

6'1, 255 pounds. Is a basketball participant over at Seton LaSalle. Had the chance to watch this young man dominate a playoff game this past Fall. Watching him and SL company was well worth the drive.

Closing speed to the football stands out immediately on tape. If he gets a free run or early penetration, the likelihood of the play getting shutdown quickly is high. Looks comfortable in a three down-lineman front, 3-4 in this case. Can shade inside or out against opposing tackles. At 6'1, 255, [player_tooltip player_id='1398307' first='Jaylen' last='Smith'] isn't going to project as a next-level pass-rusher or EDGE defender, yet I would implore coaches to give him a look at DE in 3-4 fronts. One of the more advanced freshmen Dl I've come across when it comes to shedding and getting skinny in the trenches. Penetration post-snap is this kid's game. Excellent hand-fighting, understands how to counter and use leverage. FCS schools better have this kid on their boards, that's at the very least. Fantastic finisher I might add, a young man who brings a bit of attitude and juice to each TFL/sack. Great player who climbed nearly 70+ spots.

6'2, 177 pounds. 3.7 GPA. Fantastic build, can argue it's the best build on this list, one that fully encompasses what Division One WR coaches look for. First rep on tape has Melvin striding past defenders and high-pointing a ball. Melvin gets his elbows above the defenders helmet on this leap. Good rep showcasing his body control ability, as well as some hand-eye coordination skills. This is an FBS capable pass-catcher, so long as he continues to trend in the right direction. Melvin will have to combat 1A ball skeptics.
