is a polished wide receiver who consistently finds ways to impact the passing game. He displays strong hands and routinely secures catches in traffic. Roman’s route-running ability allows him to create separation against defenders at multiple levels of the field. At 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, he possesses a solid build that helps him compete physically. His football IQ is evident in the way he identifies soft spots in coverage. Roman also shows the ability to generate yards after the catch with his vision and toughness. His consistency and reliability make him a trusted target for his quarterback. still managed to carve out a role as a reliable, explosive playmaker. The 2027 receiver brings a well-rounded skill set precise routes, strong hands, and the ability to stretch the field vertically. Roman is the type of receiver who can keep defenses honest, and while he doesn’t always grab the spotlight in such a loaded attack, he has the talent to swing momentum with a single play. Expect his profile to rise even further as he continues to produce.

is an electric athlete who can score anytime he touches the ball. His ability to make defenders miss in space is special. He was used as a weapon all over the field. On handoffs, wide receiver screens, and other plays. Anyway possible to get the ball in his hands. He is dynamic after the catch, where he has the speed and skills to break tackles all over the field. Roman is a special player who is in line for a big Junior year.

since before his freshman year. Fast forward to today, the 12th-ranked sophomore wideout was able to catch 33 balls for 500+ receiving yards and 6 TDs. Fantastic option in two-man passing concepts, you can count on Roman to track the ball well down field and to catch the football away from his body. I’ve gone on record stating this in the past, this young man plays above his measurables. Roman has as soft hands as anyone in the state, that’s a big statement. Fantastic transitioner, can catch the football and can morph into a play-maker seamlessly. Body control, hand-eye coordination, you name it, Roman outplays the first impressions his build provides. With two years left at PCC, I envision production will skyrocket, which will lead to FCS programs feeling comfortable enough to seriously recruit him. The talent is there, Roman is going to have to continue proving himself with each passing year, I have a feeling he’ll do just that.

‘s name for a year and some change now. It’s refreshing to see a hard-working young man put his head down, block out the noise, and earn himself 2nd-Team All-Conference honors as a sophomore. 3.66 GPA, led the team in receptions through the regular season.

‘s abilities weren’t needed in the win against North Allegheny, yet still, as an outsider looking in, I’m impressed with the role he’s earned for himself. Maceo Watkins is usually found near the boundary, aligning as the X or flanker in sets to either attack vertically or run hitches or drags from the outside.

is your slot underneath eater. I don’t want to marginalize his skills, Roman can beat you deep and flash some of the best hands you can find, this isn’t a one-trick pony. Very excited to move him up the 2027 ranks, he’s earned that. The coaching staff at Central Catholic have to be through the roof seeing Roman and Watkins’s development throughout the years. Whoever gets to play QB next year will have even better versions of these two to work with.

‘s provided tape comes from JV ball, as well as in large deficits over opponents on varsity. Can’t fault the young man, he’s behind many talented D1 upperclassmen over at Pittsburgh Central Catholic. Roman’s time will come, for now he’s going to have to fine-tune his game in case the coaching staff elevates his role this offseason. Uber talented prospect, I’ve had the pleasure of watching him catch balls on air, as well as against looks in 7v7 settings. His freshman tape will show his soft hands, both on offense and defense. What’s more, you can see the subtleties in Roman’s game that will likely have him eating against zone defenses in the future. Short area quickness, a clear understanding of when and where to throttle down, or when to pick up the pace. Roman is witnessed bending slants and posts alike according to the leverage of LBs or DBs. The kid has brains that can put to use offensively. Not going to burn by DBs, yet his ball skills and whits will have him eating in terms of production.

‘s film was from Freshman or Junior Varsity, but he showed some good skills at wide receiver. He catches the ball well in traffic. Then when he gets into the open field Roman has good skills to run by defenders. Roman shows a good ability to catch contested catches as well. Roman should only improve as a receiver going forward”.
