This is the most impactful offseason for the Class of 2027. This offseason oftentimes makes or breaks one's eventual college value. Why? Because most colleges won't be focusing on the class of 2027 until next offseason. Though, if the class of 2027 fails to work hard this offseason, they likely won't be ready for the big show next offseason. That said, I'm confident that all five of these QBs have what it takes to make a big jump this offseason, and I've ranked them as such.

I'm betting on a breakout Junior season for Alex.

Just before last season, Alex was unexpectedly thrust into the starting job. His first game was against none other than the preseason #1- Belleville. In that game (and really throughout the season) Alex looked very raw, but the grit he showed was phenomenal. I was in person for that first game and I'll be honest- didn't love his mechanics, throw velocity, and more. Though, Alex kept finding ways to make plays. Throughout the season, that was the stroy. Alex kept fighting and kept finding ways to help his team.

This offseason is a phenomenal opportunity for Alex to grow as a quarterback. I trust in his training, I trust in Clarkston's coaching staff, and I trust in Alex to make the major jump I know he's capable of.

I'm extremely excited to see how Braylon fares at Northview.

Last season, Northview had an absolutely shocking 9-1 record, eventually losing to would-be state runner-up Byron Center. Now, Braylon, a talented transfer from Hudsonville, takes the presumed starting QB spot. I know Northview has some skill talent coming back, so Braylon should have the pieces around him to succeed.

I've also watched Braylon a handful of times. In workouts, Braylon has consistent mechanics, good zip on the ball, and OK accuracy. I like what I see, but things often change on Friday nights- for better or for worse. So, next season, I'm expecting Braylon to go through some growing pains but eventually settle in as one of the best QBs in the OK-Black.

Hudson's JV tape at Detroit Catholic Central makes me confident that he'll succeed as the presumed Varsity Starter at Milford. Honestly, this is a prospect I know little about. Though, on tape, Hudson shows everything I like to see from a developing young QB. Pretty consistent footwork, OK throw power, and solid accuracy. None of it is perfect, but it's all promising. If Hudson is able to become a little bit of a better athlete, work on his throwing motion, and become a little more confident, he'll live up to his ranking. I have him ranked #89, so I do expect Hudson to improve quite a bit.

Look out for Quincy!

He's not your prototypical pro-style passer. His tape is actually pretty comparable to someone like Tungate from Byron Center. He's athletic, makes plays with his feet, and will sometimes wow you with his off-schedule playmaking. The first 30 seconds of Quincy's highlight tape display this perfectly. Quincy also has a pretty solid arm- 1:24 on his tape shows a quick release and an accurate 30-yard pass to his fade.

Assuming Quincy is the Varsity starter next year, I love his upside.

This ranking may come back to bite me because Wynn is already having an excellent offseason!

He's killing it on the hardwood and in 7on7. Not many high school sophomores are able to balance two sports at once let alone excel at two sports at once, but Wynn is doing it.

A word on his tape- Wynn is a gunslinger. A lot of highlights where Wynn stands strong in the pocket before delivering an accurate pass to his open receiver. I can especially appreciate those instances of patient pocket-passing because Wynn is a good athlete. A lot of QBs with similar athletic ability opt to scramble quite a but, but Wynn does a great job of mostly only using his legs when necessary. I mean, it's no wonder Wynn is doing so good in 7on7.

I probably whiffed on Wynn's ranking here. I failed to take into account his 7on7 and basketball success and instead just made a snap judgement based on his tape. Considering all of that now, Wynn is around QB14.
