I know I have talked about Hudson in the past, but I really think Hudson is being underrated. Despite being “undersized” I still believe Hudson is one of the more talented QBs in the class. A strong and accurate arm allows him to fit balls into tight windows and hit go balls and post routes with tremendous accuracy. He can move in the pocket, get out and scramble and hurt defenses tremendously if he decides to get up the field. I firmly believe Hudson has the intangibles and physical tools to be molded into a big-time contributor at the next level.

Over 2,700 passing yards and 26 touchdowns on the season for Hudson this season. Pretty great numbers, and the highlights back this up. The lefty was a nightmare to deal with, especially in the redzone. So many of his highlights are of him making really accurate throws into tight windows near the end zone. Other areas of his game were just as impressive, as he was not afraid to throw it down the sideline or up the seam. He spread it to all of his targets all season long, and I think with a few impressive camp showings, some program is going to fall in love with what he can do.

I was really impressed by the performance in week 1 out of Hudson Smith Hudson Smith 5'11" | 160 lbs | QB Milford | 2027 State MI . 17-32 passing with 385 yards and 4 TDs are really great numbers. The lefty looked confident in the pocket and actually made a couple of really nice reads. I know Milford asks a lot of their quarterbacks, but it looks like Hudson can handle all of it and then some. I am really impressed with his start to the season, and will definitely be watching what he does the rest of the season!

Hudson’s JV tape at Detroit Catholic Central makes me confident that he’ll succeed as the presumed Varsity Starter at Milford. Honestly, this is a prospect I know little about. Though, on tape, Hudson shows everything I like to see from a developing young QB. Pretty consistent footwork, OK throw power, and solid accuracy. None of it is perfect, but it’s all promising. If Hudson is able to become a little bit of a better athlete, work on his throwing motion, and become a little more confident, he’ll live up to his ranking. I have him ranked #89, so I do expect Hudson to improve quite a bit.
