We're a little less than two weeks away from a big Class of 2027 Rankings Update! This update will feature north of 100 New Additions. Those new additions come with a few that I've been itching to write about for some time. Well, here are some of those guys.

All prospects included in this article will be ranked in a couple of weeks! Here's a quick evaluation for each of them.

I'm very excited to see what [player_tooltip player_id='1589490' first='Anderson' last='Adams'] is able to accomplish this season, and you better bet he'll be ranked during this upcoming update.

For starters, Anderson trains with QualityQs, which I believe to be the single best Quarterback training service in Michigan. Seriously, I've seen countless Quarterbacks shoot up my rankings after training with Joe Boisture.

Now, onto his JV highlights. The tape begins with a large handful of highlights versus Northville. Plays like 0:36 demonstrate an ability to throw to his first read accurately and on time. Then, 0:58 is a great highlight showcasing Anderson's ability to throw over a linebacker to the middle of the field. Several other highlights show good athleticism and a general willingness to scramble and fight for first downs.

Whether it's 2025 or 2026, Anderson is on track to become a great Quarterback in the OAA Red.

Right here is your prototypical swiss army knife. Braylon has highlights at running back, DB, and kick return.

All-around, he's an athletic player best utilized when he's able to gain a head of steam in the open field. 2:31 is an excellent example of that- Braylon gets the inside handoff, there's a gaping hole to run through, and he takes advantage of bad pursuit angles to earn an explosive play. I also see a few instances of good vision. At 2:17, Braylon is patient enough to wait for his blocks to develop, then he does an excellent job running north-south through the defense. Lastly, I'll point to 1:28. This is Braylon's best example of contact balance, vision, and athleticism wrapped up into one play.

I see a lot of flashes here, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Braylon consistently outruns defenders and exposes poor pursuit angles. In the future, I'd love to see Braylon establish better contact balance. Hit the weight room, keep that same athletic ability, and he could be a D2 prospect in a year's time.

Groves has a lot of key players at key positions that they'll have to replace next season. Jeremiah is a very promising JV player who could step into a big role, filling some big shoes.

But if I know anything about Groves, it's that they can always reload their skill position players. Another thing I know is that they ALWAYS seem to develop their skill guys. That said, I really like the flashes Jeremiah showed this past season. Similar to Braylon, Jeremiah is a great athlete, fast, explosive, but doesn't yet have great contact balance or high-level experience. Credit Jeremiah for burning through bad JV defenses- his speed WILL be an immediate asset on Varsity. Though, those Varsity defenses are an entirely different animal. No matter where Jeremiah plays (RB or WR), he'll need to hone in on the little things.

I am extremely excited to see how East Kentwood fares next season. Honestly, I think they'll take another massive step forward, in part because of guys like [player_tooltip player_id='1613657' first='Kinyonn' last='Battle'].

Kinyonn's tape already shows a lot more polish than most sophomores. His tape begins with two very well-run out routes. Even though he caught those balls near the sideline, Kinyonn was able to maintain balance and still work his way upfield. I can tell in those two highlights alone that Kinyonn is at the very least an above-average Varsity player. Now, this third highlight shows a solid, but not excellent block. He did this job, but he was a little pedestrian- a lot of DBs would have shed that. But then, his tape picks back up with an excellent snag and a display of good contact balance.

Love the route running, body control, and contact balance. A great foundation to build off of, and well-deserving of a ranking!

There are a few underclassmen at Mason who are very intriguing prospects. Luke is one of those guys worth keeping an eye on.

Luke is a receiver. Like all receivers at Mason, Luke has excellent fundamentals. In particular, route running and hands. 1:07 is the first play I'll mention. First off, the Mason staff obviously has a ton of trust in Luke to be calling a 1-on-1 fade to Luke. That trust is obviously earned, because Luke did an excellent job of high-pointing the football, catching with his hands, and coming down with it. Then, the play at 1:23 shows a combination of good route running, patience, and overall open-field IQ. Most receivers wouldn't have the IQ to fake inside then cut to the sideline- great heads-up play.

I expect another leap forward for Luke next season. The WR market is always extremely competitive, so I don't quite know what to expect with his recruitment. Though, I will definitely give him a ranking in this coming update.
