Towns checks into our 2028 rankings as the top signal caller in California and inside the top 5 overall. He holds offers from ASU, Arkansas, Kentucky, Oregon State, Texas Tech, Washington, Virginia tech and Toledo and is well on his way to being a national recruit through his prep career. Towns has a long and extremely strong frame and is tough to take down in the pocket doing a good job at feeling pressure, keeping his eyes downfield and delivering on time throws outside the pocket. He has plus arm strength with spin on the ball, accurate placement over the top and throws his receivers open consistently. No doubt passing the eye test heading into his Sophomore year, he is one of the more physically imposing quarterbacks in the country and should have a truly breakout second year campaign for the Lions.

Malau'ulu is one of the top freshman quarterbacks in the nation, and will be leading the Braves for the next three seasons. He is very technically sound with his throwing mechanics, moves through his progressions quickly scanning the field and moving defenders with his eyes before his release. Very aware in the pocket, he can feel pressure off the edge, step up and deliver on schedule throws under pressure while keeping his eyes downfield. Malau'ulu shows a snappy release and gets the ball out quick while able to throw across his body and from various angles without losing zip on the ball. He is well on his way to being a national recruit and holds offers from Arizona, ASU, Texas Tech, Washington and New Mexico.

Edwards checks into our rankings as a top 3 passer in his class, and inside the top 10 overall after a terrific first season in high school. He is a very athletic pocket passer that can deliver on time throws, push the ball downfield and gets the ball out quick while moving through his progressions. Edwards shows poise in the pocket, keeps his eyes downfield even under duress and can fit the ball into tight spaces over the top with touch and velocity on his throws at the third level. He is not afraid to take what is given underneath, and is seemingly very smart pre-snap, knowing where he wants to go with the ball. He currently holds offers from Oregon, Arkansas, ASU, Toledo and Oregon State.

Heaslet is one of the more efficient and big time passers in his class across the state, and is coming off a tremendous first season for St. Joseph. He is a very mobile passer that can efficiently navigate the pocket, throw on the run and has a already very strong arm and is only a freshman. He shows he can buy time with his feet while keeping his eyes downfield, throw into tight windows with good zip on the ball and touch over the top on third level throws. Heaslet also displays the ability to throw from various angles and off-platform with accuracy and can lead his receivers open away from defenders. He is a technically sound passer with plus mechanics especially for his age and will only continue to grow and develop over the next three seasons. He currently holds offers from Arkansas State, Georgia State, Sac State, SMU and Louisville.

Sekona checks into our rankings as a top five passer in his class across the state, and is a physically imposing passer that is a true dual-threat with a big time arm downfield. He has a very strong build, shows he can deliver the ball downfield into tight windows and leads his receivers open on both in breaking and out breaking routes. Able to make all the throws at all three levels, he is a very physical and violent runner in space that can break tackles in the open field, shows a open field burst and can operate smoothly while running the ball in-between the tackles. Sekona is a powerful runner inside with the speed to break away and looks for contact, which is rare for a quarterback his age. Currently, he holds offers from Arizona, ASU, Hawaii and Arkansas.
