2027 Rankings Update- Offensive Stock Risers

Our new 2027 Rankings Update is live! To roll out our new class, we want to cover some of the stock risers across the state!   Today, we are going to look at our offensive prospects who've risen the ranks! These guys put together impressive seasons last fall- be sure to watch their tape below!    [player_tooltip player_id='444725' first='CJ' last='Cowley'] is now our top RB in the state, sitting at our #8th spot overall in our 2027 Rankings. What he did last fall for Spain Park's rushing attack was nothing short of incredible, he's a seriously talented prospect picking up tons of attention from schools all over. Cowley is explosive with the ball in his hand- he can create massive plays out of the backfield as a rusher and receiver, consistently finding ways to move the chains and get into the endzone every down. Cowley is highly athletic and plays with a ton of speed and twitch- he generates so much speed in the open field, has terrific change of direction, and can easily make defenders miss- leading to massive plays on the ground. Cowley is just as productive as a receiver, he has reliable hands and is an excellent safety valve for his quarterback, creating tons after the catch. Cowley was super productive last season, ending his sophomore year with 121 carries for 769 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground and 20 receptions for 239 yards and 5 touchdowns through the air. With how well he played last fall, Cowley has become a national recruit- listing offers from Penn State, Mississippi State, Oregon, and many more top-tier programs. [player_tooltip player_id='472861' first='Jamison' last='Roberts'] is a really talented up-and-coming QB prospect out of Saraland who has risen to our #44th spot in our 2027 Rankings for what he did in relief of star QB [player_tooltip player_id='379573' first='KJ' last='Lacey'] last season. Roberts has some serious arm talent and throws the ball really well- he has a quick release, plenty of arm strength, and the accuracy to hit his WRs anywhere on the field. Roberts can complete some seriously impressive throws- consistently fitting the ball into tight windows, making tough throws on the run, and taking the tops off of defenses with his ability to push the ball downfield. Roberts is also really athletic and can make a lot happen with his legs- he's fantastic at avoiding pressure, when the pocket collapses he uses his speed and mobility to outrun pass rushers and live another down, never putting drives in jeopardy. In limited time, Roberts made the most of his opportunity last season- playing just 6 quarters and completing 33/43 passing attempts for 491 yards and 9 touchdowns with no interceptions. It's going to be really exciting seeing what Roberts can do in an increased role next season, take a look at his film in the meantime, he's got tons of potential and has already put together some great tape!      [player_tooltip player_id='440308' first='Darion' last='Moseley'] has risen to our #15 spot in the state and is now our top WR in our 2027 Rankings, and after the season he put together last fall for Thompson, it's hard to argue otherwise. Moseley is a big WR who thrives off of his speed and route-running, he gains tons of separation from DBs at every level of the field, consistently making huge plays against some talented 7A secondaries. Moseley is highly versatile in his team's offenses- lining up inside/outside and completely bullying opposing DBs with his combination of size and speed. Moseley does a great job taking advantage of smaller DBs- frequently on tape you'll find him winning one-on-one matchups for the ball, fighting through contact and making huge catches over the tops of defenders. Moseley was highly productive against some talented defenses across the 7A last season, ending his sophomore year with 53 receptions for 757 yards and 13 touchdowns. With how well he's played, Moseley has seen his recruitment open up a ton- he's just recently picked up offers from Vanderbilt, Washington, Mississippi State, and more. Check out his tape below, those offers are only the first of many to come- he's seriously talented!      [player_tooltip player_id='466867' first='Carter' last='Feagin'] has risen to the #16 spot in our Rankings, and for good reason- he was dominant for McAdory's passing game last fall, consistently making huge plays against talented defenses across the state. Feagin is a dominant pass catcher capable of making plays all over the field against some talented defenses. Feagin is highly athletic and it shows in his play- he plays with great speed, is twitchy running routes, and gains tons of separation downfield, hauling in some huge catches for his team. Feagin has a great set of hands and comes away with some seriously impressive catches- he does a great job fighting off defenders for contested passes, frequently making huge grabs downfield and in the endzone over the tops of DBs. Feagin forces defenses to respect his speed in the open field - he can completely flip the field, turning short passes into home run plays no matter what yard line the offense is on. Feagin was dominant all of last season, ending his sophomore year with 58 receptions for 1033 yards and 6 touchdowns. With production like that, teams have started taking notice- he's picked up offers from Mississippi State, Georgia State, Jacksonville State, and plenty of others. Be sure to watch his tape below, he's got tons of potential and is only going to keep picking up more attention!      [player_tooltip player_id='1404984' first='Quentin' last='Lewis'] has become a huge piece of Russell County's passing attack, making huge plays at WR against some of the most talented secondaries across the state and developing into a key target for QB [player_tooltip player_id='1301122' first='Bryson' last='Riggins'] last season. At 6'3 190, Lewis has dominant size he uses to completely embarrass opposing DBs- consistently coming away with massive grabs over the tops of their heads and winning one-on-one matchups anywhere on the field. It's seriously impressive watching Lewis haul in passes- he's a threat downfield, across the middle, along the sideline, and under heavy coverage- if you throw the ball up, there is a good chance he's coming down with it. Lewis really impressed me with his tape from last season- he made some ridiculous highlight-reel plays against tough defenses all year long, leading to a big increase in his stock with us. It showed up on the stat sheet- Lewis ended his sophomore campaign with 28 receptions for 642 yards and 9 touchdowns. Be sure to keep your eyes on him, Lewis is a really impressive player to watch- he's got some great film below and is set up for a huge junior season this fall!
