Expert Analysis
Josh White | Prep Redzone Scout
Lewis wins early and late in reps. His first step off the line forces immediate hip turn from corners, and once he stacks them vertically, he controls the route. There’s no drifting — he stays on top of defenders and makes them play through his frame.
His contested-catch ability stands out. He elevates naturally, extends fully, and shows hand strength to secure the ball through contact. Over-the-shoulder tracking is clean, and he maintains stride without breaking rhythm. When quarterbacks give him a chance down the field, he consistently rewards that trust.

Lewis is a big-body receiver with FBS and P4 offers under his belt, but he is still creeping onto the national radar. Lewis is a downfield, big-play threat with the size and ability to go up and win in traffic. He is quick off the line, doesn’t waste steps, and cuts through cushion. Receivers who can win in traffic are always at a premium, especially at this size, so he will continue to attract P4 attention.

last season. At 6’3 190, Lewis has dominant size he uses to completely embarrass opposing DBs- consistently coming away with massive grabs over the tops of their heads and winning one-on-one matchups anywhere on the field. It’s seriously impressive watching Lewis haul in passes- he’s a threat downfield, across the middle, along the sideline, and under heavy coverage- if you throw the ball up, there is a good chance he’s coming down with it. Lewis really impressed me with his tape from last season- he made some ridiculous highlight-reel plays against tough defenses all year long, leading to a big increase in his stock with us. It showed up on the stat sheet- Lewis ended his sophomore campaign with 28 receptions for 642 yards and 9 touchdowns. Be sure to keep your eyes on him, Lewis is a really impressive player to watch- he’s got some great film below and is set up for a huge junior season this fall!

is a shifty wide receiver out of Russell County that has already made a bunch of plays for his team. Lewis has great size and plays with a ton of speed and physicality, making him tough for defenses to gameplan against. So far in his sophomore season Lewis has shown that he and quarterback

have great chemistry together. Lewis does a great job getting open for his QB and has been able to make a lot of huge catches early on in the season. It’s really impressive to watch considering he didn’t see the field anywhere near as much as he did last year. Lewis has already been making plays in his sophomore season- so far through two games, Lewis has recorded 3 receptions for 81 yards and one touchdown. It’s clear that Lewis has come a long way from year one to year two, he’s only going to continue getting better and it’ll be exciting to watch. Be sure to watch Lewis this fall, he’s got a ton of potential and is already making plays as a sophomore!
