He has good lateral quickness and was a standout at the National Prep Showcase last year. The 290-pound defensive lineman played quarterback in meaningful games for the Tillers last season and held his own. As a defensive lineman, he puts offensive linemen on skates and is constantly in the backfield. He's a versatile guy who can even play on the edge sometimes but works best as a 3-technique tackle. Ioane has quick hands and can get the offensive lineman's hands off him quickly.
