After years of development and waiting his turn, it was Walker's time to lead Lawrence Central. This year, he had moments of brilliance, making some big-time plays and throws. He did a good job keeping the ball safe and not turning it over. He threw for 1500 yards and 17 TDs to only 3 INTs and added another 400 yards and 4 TDs on the ground.

Polston has improved every year but had no bigger than he did this year. He improved his completion % by 16%. He completed 63% of his passes for 2100 yards and 21 TDs through the air and added 300 yards and 5TDs with his legs as he helped guide Decatur Central to a state championship.

Coellner has filled in for Carmel for the past 2 years and has improved so much, it's impressive. He's a confident quarterback who knows where he's supposed to go with the ball and has the arm to make the throw. He completed 61% of his throws this year for 1900 yards for 17 TDs. He's a pocket passer and will need protection in front of him, but when he gets hot he's as tough to slowdown as any QB in the state.

Very rarely do I get to come across someone I would have played against in HS with this much potential. Coming from NE Indiana, the talent isn't quite as deep. However, Holbrook is holding up the corner. He's got 5000 career passing yards, 50 career passing TDs, completes just under 60% of his throws, and can take off when he needs to. He has 12 career-rushing TDs as well.

Cruz transferred this year and it was his first year in the Mooresville system. While his numbers dropped just a little bit, it's likely because he's still adjusting, and those numbers are still very solid. Cruz completed 58% of his throws for 2500 yards and 25 TDs through the air. He throws a nice ball, will have plenty of reps, and year 2 in the system could be huge.
