PRZ Virginia Showcase Preview: A number of kids from Northern VA

Currently we have 80 kids that have RSVP but there is still room for more! Cole Laing, Vic Castillo and I will be doing preview articles leading up to Sunday. The Loudoun, Fairfax and Prince William County schools have a contingent of stars slated to attend. We have been high on Carter for over a year now and he just capped off an impressive junior season for the Patriots, he is bound to show out on Sunday. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He can play corner, wideout, running back or safety, he is the 30th ranked prospect in the 2026 class. The 29th ranked prospect and 2nd ranked for his position, Hill is coming off a Cardinal District Title run. The way he progressed as a sophomore this past fall was really impressive. Hill was much more careful taking care of the football and his accuracy improved also. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>He is the 2nd ranked quarterback in his class and will no doubt be a hot commodity as a junior for the Vikings. He was still elite in the pocket when given the opportunities in my opinion and may have the strongest arm at the showcase. A baseball star as well for West Springfield, Walrath is the ultimate teammate. I for one think he will really thrive during the individual drills and 1vs1s portion of the showcase but will have to see. The senior to be stepped up and delivered helping his squad march to the playoffs. He is more a dual threat option and he made some plays this past season. It will be interesting to see his testing numbers cause the young man can run, but also how he throws in the 1vs1s. Already on a number of college coaches radars, D'Amico was awesome at center for the Eagles in 2024. We have covered him at length and Cole and I agree we are excited to see what he can do in person. A stud linemen Barnhill is due for a rankings bump when we update the 2026 class soon. Playing for Freedom South Riding, he is 6'2 and 250 lbs., the coaches on hand will enjoy his work. A first team All-Region Defensive selection for good reason. Davis was elite at linebacker, defensive end and tackle as a junior. He is coming off a darn good junior season that lead him to All-Conference honors. Nassib is setting records left and right for the Tigers, last I checked he has broken 5 school records already. When he informed me he was attending I was admittedly excited as I have yet to see him throw in person.
