McClurg is a rising name for Center Grove which began to pop this year. He's a 3-sport Varsity athlete for Center Grove, so he's fairly well-rounded. He's nimble, not stiff, and has good speed. I like him in the slot for now, but do think he could develop on the outside. He rushed the ball, caught the ball, and returned kicks for CG this year and amassed just over 700 yards and 3 TDs, but this is just the beginning for McClurg.

Dold stepped in for Twin Lakes this year and got them 5 wins in his first season. I like Dold because he doesn't hold the ball. He likes to get it out to his playmakers and let them do the work. He knows where he's supposed to go with the ball and once his arm catches up to his eyes, could be hard to slow down. He completed 56% of his throws for 2600 yards and 21 TDs this season.

There's a chance I have Dangerfield too low, but I'm still stoked about him, what he did this year, and what he could do moving forward. He's built like a back and plays like one. He's tough, has good vision, and can break the long one. His sophomore season just saw him rush for over 1000 yards and 16 TDs with a long of 64 yards. Dangerfield quickly became Cathedral's guy this year and should be for years to come.

Wood came in and helped give the offensive line a boost right away. He has a solid frame and can use it to his advantage. I like him right off the line and he has good hand placement. He's strong enough to win 1 on 1 battle on the interior. He fits the mold for an inside guy and has the nimbleness to go on the move and clear openings. He started every game for North this year and should be a set-and-forget guy for the next few years.

Combs is someone I've recently come across, and he looks good. He has some big shoes to fill for South, but for year 1, I think it's safe to say he did the job. Combs completed 64% of his throws for 1960 yards and 21 TDs while helping South win 8 games. I expected South to drop off quite a bit this year with the group of seniors they had graduated in '24, but Combs stepped up and prevented that drop off.
