I liked Wood from the start today and he finished as strong as anyone out there. He’s got a very strong core and stays grounded. His handplacement is fairly good and he can stone wall as well as move his feet while making contact. He’s worked on his frame and looks good as well. He’s an interior linemen with an edge and that’s what you love to see.

Wood came in and helped give the offensive line a boost right away. He has a solid frame and can use it to his advantage. I like him right off the line and he has good hand placement. He’s strong enough to win 1 on 1 battle on the interior. He fits the mold for an inside guy and has the nimbleness to go on the move and clear openings. He started every game for North this year and should be a set-and-forget guy for the next few years.

Wood is a fantastic young upcoming offensive lineman with a bunch of potential. His frame is made for the next level, yet he’s still so young he has plenty of time to grow into it and develop it. He’s got heavy hands that pack a punch. He’s got good balance and can get to the second level when blocking in the running game. He’s young, but the potential to develop into a perennial offensive lineman is there.
