is a starting offensive lineman for Evansville North. Elmer has a quick first step, he is an excellent puller who can hit a moving target and does a great job of running his feet on contact to get vertical push. I love Elmer’s ability to latch onto defenders and finish blocks. The Class of 2028 prospect has plenty of upside, and I look forward to seeing him at college camps this summer and beyond.

Elmer is a powerful interior lineman who constantly buries the guy across from him. He plays with a good base and low pad level. He’s almost always got the leverage advantage and can win at the point of contact. He’s good on the move in the running game as a lead blocker on calls like power. He’ll get around the corner and seal the block, knowing to change their angle and create the crease. He seems to be fairly consistent and doesn’t ride the emotional waves of the game. I like him and what he brings to the table for North.

Elmer stepped in this year and helped bring some swagger to the North front. He can play violently and with strength. He’s got a strong core and hands, which help him at the point of attack. He’s a decent athlete who can bend and go on the move. He’s got a decent first step and can get to eh second level with ease. He’s decent in pass pro as well, but not near his ceiling yet. He’s got the prototypical frame and looks good. I like where he’s at and the upside he has.
