Xavier Dangerfield Xavier Dangerfield 5'10" | 180 lbs | RB Cathedral | 2027 State IN is a legitimate FBS prospect and one of the bright spots of Cathedral’s offense. Dangerfield has good juice and burst through the hole. Dangerfield looks like he loves the gym: he has a thick upper half and a powerful set of legs to run through contact, stay on his feet and maintain balance in space.

Dangerfield stepped into the backfield as a starter this year and didn’t just play well, but was phenomenal and quickly became a focal point for their offense. He averaged over 6 yards per carry on the season, carrying it 180 times. His 1087 rushing yards and 16 TDs were impressive as well. He’s got good vision, makes sharp cuts, and has good speed in the open field. I like Dangerfield and what he brings to the table. I imagine his recruiting picks up here real soon.

There’s a chance I have Dangerfield too low, but I’m still stoked about him, what he did this year, and what he could do moving forward. He’s built like a back and plays like one. He’s tough, has good vision, and can break the long one. His sophomore season just saw him rush for over 1000 yards and 16 TDs with a long of 64 yards. Dangerfield quickly became Cathedral’s guy this year and should be for years to come.

Starting to breakout and showcase that he’s got a very bright future for Cathedral is Dangerfield who just put up his first 200-yard game of his career against Bishop Chatard. He’s a dynamic runner who lets his blocks set up and has the speed to shoot out the other side. He’s got a nice build for a young age and is gaining the confidence you want to see. His 201 yards and 2 TDs helped Cathedral blowout Bishop Chatard 31-7
