2027 Rankings Update: Northern Nevada Newcomers

Highly athletic and physical tackler at 5'11"/190 that can close on the ball in a hurry and makes rangy plays in space. Triggers quick off the snap, shows ability to read keys and react to potential blockers, and is highly efficient in his angles of pursuit. Can get downhill from a second-level alignment to create negative run plays and shows great eye discipline as a diagnoser. The 6'/190 sophomore totaled 92 tackles and 5 TFLs in 2024. Solid physical profile with good length and athleticism to his frame. Mostly aligned between the OTs last season but could see him developing into a future OLB given the size and speed he shows on tape. Can diagnose and react to run in a timely manner, can beat blockers to the spot when getting downhill, and shows his toughness filling interior lanes. Totaled 27 catches for 467 yards and 3 TDs this season. Big, physical wideout at 6'1"/200 with strong hands and turns into a tough downhill runner after the catch. Still developing as a route-runner but flashes some deceptiveness in his breaks and can match physicality against press coverage at the LOS. He's a powerful athlete at 6'2"/235 that can stun OTs with a strong initial punch and move laterally when tracking down ball-carriers on the perimeter. Does a good job of staying square to the LOS, using his hands to shed blocks, and playing with technique against the run.
