Lauter racked up 109 yards and a TD on 6 carries and totaled 9 tackles and 2 TFLs in Truckee’s 20-14 victory over Elko. The #3-LB in PRZ NV’s 2027 class showed the high-level physicality and athleticism he brings to both sides of the ball and continues to prove why he’s one of the top-ranked prospects in northern Nevada. Lauter has 24 tackles, 3 TFLs and 3 rushing TDs through three games this season.

Lauter established himself as one of the most disruptive LBs in his class with 76 total tackles, 7 sacks, and 15 TFLs in seven games this season. Highly athletic and physical tackler at 5’11″/190 that can close on the ball in a hurry and makes rangy plays in space. Triggers quick off the snap, shows ability to read keys and react to potential blockers, and is highly efficient in his angles of pursuit. Can get downhill from a second-level alignment to create negative run plays and shows great eye discipline as a diagnoser. Lauter’s firmly on the northern Nevada radar with the level of play he showed on tape as a sophomore, expect his interest to heat up this offseason.
