<p class="text-gray-700">If the Grinch was a real person, he might look like [player_tooltip player_id='1618859' first='Adrian' last='Lee']. Lee made Christmas time tough for Douglas Country when he had four sacks and five quarterback hurries. Adrian would go on this season stealing the joy of his opposing offenses as he led the state in sacks with 15. Don't jump for joy now, as Adrian is just a junior and plans to become the bogeyman for the opposing QBs next year, too.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">When you see him, you immediately think of the Game of Thrones line “Winter is Coming”. Brody wasn't just a nightmare for opposing running backs and receivers when he had nine solo tackles in the Pine Creek game or when he had seven solo and nine total tackles in the Rock Canyon game. He was a Colorado Avalanche when he recorded three sacks against Douglas County, and the storm didn't stop there. Brody would go on to have multiple sacks against Heritage (2), Smoky Hill (2), and Eagle Crest (2) to lead all linebackers with 14 in the state.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Some of the best Christmas gifts are usually small yet expensive ones. Well, Enzo might be small, but the damage he left offensive linemen this season is going to cost a lot of hours in the gym and film study. Enzo didn't have one, two, three, four, or even five games of double-digit tackles, but he had six. To add the ribbon and bow to the gifts, he only had two of those six games where he didn't record a Tackle for loss. Verse Littleton High School Mr. Hernandez recorded 11 tackles, and six went for losses; he had 12 tackles against Prospect Ridge, and an incredible 15 tackles, with five going for losses against Denver West. In the next three games against Pinnacle, Platte Valley, and Estes Park, he would total 52 tackles, five for losses, four sacks, and a blocked punt. Enzo would finish the Season with 99 total tackles, 13 sacks, 20 tackles for loss, 2 fumble recoveries and a blocked punt. You talk about being on top of Santa's nice list!</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">When Santa wrote his naughty list, he must have had Devin deliver the lumps of coal to these opposing Quarterbacks. Devin had nine interceptions this season and only four games this season; he did not register an int., but for three schools, he decided that one Int wasn't enough. Against Overland, he had two interceptions for 42 yds and one pass break, against Adams City, he recorded his second game of two interceptions for 110 yards and three pass breakups, but it was the game on September 13th that his north star shined the brightest when against Rangeview he had three picks and two pass breakups. I just hope Santa got him those new football gloves because the old ones are worn out.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">If Santa has a lead helper the pic would be Diego. In all of Diego's games (8) this season, Diego took a football out of the air. But Against Grand Valley and Fort Lupton, having one gift wasn't enough, so he decided that two interceptions would make him that much happier, and finishing the season with eight Int. Is just the Icing because Diego is only a Junior and plans to receive more gifts next year.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">When Santa needs a stocking stuffer, he must call the stat stuffer himself, Grayson. Grayson was all over the field and not in a good way for these two offenses. On October 4th, Grayson totaled 24 tackles against Moffat County, and, like Disney on Ice, decided that an encore on October 11th would be even better when he recorded 28 total tackles. Grayson was the little engine that could this season totaling 57 solo tackles, 111 assisted tackles, 16.5 tackles for losses for a grand total of 168 total tackles. As a senior, I hope his Christmas wish is a retired #54 Jersey in the Raptures.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">If one of the hardest things to do being Santa is to be everywhere at one time he might want to call [ of Denver West. The best gifts should always be picked last and that is why I have Robert finishing this article. Robert had more stats than I can write about. On September 6th, he had 13 total tackles, one tackle for loss, and an INT, but he jumped to the offensive side of the ball and had seven catches for 46 yards and a touchdown. On September 20th, Robert decided that just playing defense against Jefferson High School and recording two interceptions wasn't enough, so he went to offense in the same game and got four receptions for 88 yards and not one, not two, but three touchdowns. On October 4th and October 18th, Mr. Wittke had two interceptions in the game; one against Mitchell, he decided that running the ball three times for 38 yards and a touchdown would feel his Christmas spirit, and then against Lincoln, he needed just two catches for 15 yds and a touchdown would do the trick. Robert only had two games where he did not record an interception, and in one, he played on the offensive side of the ball to record five catches for 180 yards and a Touchdown! HO HO HO! Merry Christmas</p>
