About Grayson
Expert Analysis
Robert Davis | Prep Redzone Scout
Isenhart is a backer that is all over the field and violently bringing down ball carriers, being one of the top tackle leaders in the state. He is able to read and react quickly to make plays near the line of scrimmage, meeting ball carriers in the hole and bringing them down in a hurry. He is quick to shed a block and get in the backfield to create chaos, stopping the offenses momentum before they get anything going. Isenhart does show the ability to drop back into coverage and come up with the ball. He has some programs attention and will be a player that will be able to make an immediate impact in the right system.

When Santa needs a stocking stuffer, he must call the stat stuffer himself, Grayson. Grayson was all over the field and not in a good way for these two offenses. On October 4th, Grayson totaled 24 tackles against Moffat County, and, like Disney on Ice, decided that an encore on October 11th would be even better when he recorded 28 total tackles. Grayson was the little engine that could this season totaling 57 solo tackles, 111 assisted tackles, 16.5 tackles for losses for a grand total of 168 total tackles. As a senior, I hope his Christmas wish is a retired #54 Jersey in the Raptures.

Isenhart is demolishing the competition. He currently is leading all of Colorado in tackles with 120. The next closest is 96. Throughout the season, he has 120 total tackles (44 solo, 76 assisted), 12 TFL, 2 FF, 1 FR. He has good athletic ability due to good speed, good acceleration, and jumping. He uses his athletic ability to be consistently all over the field. Isenhart shows his good mental processing by watching the QB’s eyes leading him to the ball carrier. Or he will ID the gap and rush it for a TFL. He has good competitive toughness by playing through the whistle, and consistently helping teammates. He runs with a head full of steam, and hits the ballcarrier with power. If colleges are looking for an every down linebacker who can cover, Isenhart is your guy.

Isenhart is a backer that has great vision and is able to read and react quickly to come down and make a play behind the line of scrimmage. He has the skill set to be a hybrid LB/DB that can drop back into coverage or hit home when his number is called. He is able to press and two gap on occasion, forcing the ball to his help side or make the play himself. He is a good open field tackler and is able to make an impact on special teams as well. I think he is ready to have a monster season and is someone you will need to keep on the radar.

Isenhart is a very disciplined backer, on film he never strays from his assignment and doesn’t fall for trick plays. He is constantly reading the play and flying through the hole to meet the ball carrier. He has a lot of strength and doesn’t give up ground, constantly meeting the ball carrier and driving them back or into the ground. He has good hands and gets off of blocks quickly, he will be a sleeper to keep on the radar moving forward.
