Ranked as a top 500 senior in all of Pennsylvania, an unoffered dual-sport senior boasting a 10'2 broad and a 35 inch vert. Ranked as an "ATH" because of his two-way prowess both at quarterback and safety. Completed 71% of his passes, a large sample size too with Kissell attempting over 225 throws this season, no small number. Dominant 1A weapon, accounted for 2,500+ passing yards, 350+ rushing, 32 total touchdowns. Tack on 13 TFLs, 5 interceptions, Kissell, like he's been for years ongoing, is a one-man wrecking crew capable of turning the tide of a football game working inside any of the three phases of the game.

6'2, 190 pounds. Works out of many 11 personnel sets, (1RB/1TE). Works primarily out of gun, has a great feel for long-developing passing concepts, is comfortable in the pocket due to size and athleticism, so Kissell has no problem waiting/stalling to throw a deep shot downfield. A safety prospect at the next level, is comfortable playing inside the front seven. Can double as a run-supporting big body and a ball-hawking center fielder. Capable of running zone-read keepers, a smart player who can key the correct defender in these situations. Works well with Reilly and Gates in impromptu situations. A ton of downfield shots, an opposing defense is going to have to limit downfield shots by either pressuring Kissell in the pocket, or playing with an umbrella/shell in the secondary. Easier said than done. A fantastic playmaker is ready to play for a State Title against Port Allegany.

Reilly has been a consistent performer this season for Bishop Guilfoyle. With a lean build at 6'1 and 175 lbs and a 4.5-second 40-yard dash, he's a versatile two-way player and record-setting QB [player_tooltip player_id='599217' first='Chase' last='Kissell'] ‘s go-to downfield target. Reilly displays excellent ball skills, excelling at intercepting passes and securing 50/50 jump balls on deep routes as a receiver. His skills also translate well to defense, where he poses an interception threat in coverage. He's a reliable tackler and has the athleticism to contribute on special teams at the college level. With his speed, Reilly is well-suited to play either wide receiver or free safety in college. He runs precise routes and effectively gets out of his breaks to receive the ball, showcasing his potential to be a valuable asset on both offense and special teams.

Gates is putting up gaudy numbers throughout BG's 14-win season. Neatly 3,000 total scrimmage yards under this young man's belt, Bishop Guilfoyle will deploy two overtly versatile prospects in Kissell and Gates, both of which can flip a game on its head with one touch of the ball. One punt returned for a score, one passing touchdown thrown. 1,500 of Kissell's 2,500 passing yards went Gates's way. An unreal 39 total touchdowns scored, 18 on the ground behind 700+ rushing yards, 18 through the air. This all without mentioning two interceptions returned for a touchdown, as well as three additional INTs and 50+ tackles from his DB spot. The numbers will blow you away, the tape will cement opinions made from those who are only looking at numbers. Enamored with Gates' playmaking ability of course, yet I get the feeling he could be a better DB at the next level. I've gone on record in the past detailing my opinion that Gates could be a special DB at the PSAC level if given the opportunity. Excited to see which coaches in attendance Thursday afternoon fall in love with his skillset. I imagine coaches in attendance will be watching with intent of offering the BG senior.

Kissell's regular season tape begins with him aligning at DE in a 4-3 traditional front. His 210-pound frame jumps off the LOS, good awareness skills have him read the quick screen. This would lead to a Kissell pick-six. An opportunistic player whose experience at different alignments/looks/positions has him ultra aware of his surroundings.
Bishop Guilfoyle will go into this matchup with a capable kicker. Carter Boland, a sophomore who plays varsity soccer and golf, will be deployed to kick field goals and extra points, in the rare occasion that BG doesn't score at the end of drives.

Boland has an extensive on-going Hudl highlight showcasing several extra points, as well as 20-30 yard field goal makes. Boland buries extra-points, launches them outside of the track at times, so I'd imagine Bishop Guilfoyle trusts his leg enough to attempt 30-35 yard fields goals if the situation presents itself.

6'0, 200 pounds. 3.92 GPA. Averaged nearly 11 yards per carry, recorded an unreal 57 touchdowns throughout Port Allegany's undefeated run to a State Title game. 3,100 rushing yards, a linebacker tape worth watching too.

Bishop Guilfoyle will be expecting a heavy dose of [player_tooltip player_id='1158407' first='Aiden' last='Bliss'] on the ground, a backer who ranks just outside the top 30 at his position among PA juniors. A rank that is obviously going to change, Bliss offers nearly 20 minutes of two-way production via his Hudl. Five touchdown runs against Fort Cherry, this a week after Bliss set the Distirct 9 single season rushing record. The young man deserves all the recognition, accolades, and fanfare accumulated throughout this historic season.

Putting Bliss's offensive prowess under a microscope, I can get the full spectrum of Bliss's skills as a runner and return man. Carries balance of a 5'9, 150 pound back at 6'0, 205. Carries great power in his lower body, the two traits standout when plugging in the tape. Bliss's offensive tape is littered with runs ran between the tackles, runs with Bliss following a lead blocker (FB), and finishing runs by barreling through weak backers and DBs. Port Allegany does a phenomenal job blocking up front, a ton of successful gaps created, especially when they utilize a sniffer/H-back to seal off holes at the second-level. Bliss can take direct snaps, he's a bit of a better athlete than his build suggests. Power and strength are his calling card, yet he can house runs in which DBs have the inside track. Reps as a kick return show off these traits as well. Port Allegany is going to live with and by Bliss's efforts. The game plan is likely a simple one, Guilfoyle Academy is going to have to do all they can to clog inside lanes, force Bliss to bounce runs behind the LOS. BG is going to have to rally to the football on each and every play to ensure Bliss doesn't get loose, this kid is a sure bet to run through contact and bruise the first two defenders attempting to tackle him. BG is going to have to account for Bliss at backer on top of all of this. Bliss aligns in a traditional MIKE role for PA. A tape littered with run stuffs begins with Bliss catching three interceptions. As easy as it would be to fit Bliss into a stereotypical back/backer type role, this kid is much more than a bruising body in 1A football. If you don't account for his entire skill set, he's likely to exploit you in one way or another. Excited to watch this kid work in person. He's going to fly up our ranks.

Port Allegany didn't go undefeated on their way to Cumberland Valley on the back of one man. [player_tooltip player_id='1158407' first='Aiden' last='Bliss'] cannot produce at a record-breaking pace without the help of a great offensive line unit up front. Port Allegany also has to play respectable defense to make it this far. I am positive there are more names to know repping PA, I could not find much on Hudl to break down outside of Bliss, however. I will learn more about the program post-Title game at the end of the week.
