The senior will not go away quietly as he gashed Colgan's defense for 258 yards and 6 touchdowns! No that is not a misprint, Hunt averaging nearly 9 yards per carry ran all over Coach Scott's defense. The Bruins can finish with another season above .500 this week and their playoff hopes are not quite over yet. Carlson had a nice afternoon against the Chanticleers and is having a very good junior campaign. His completion percentage ranks among the best in the state as he guided the Bulldogs to 3 wins in a row. Over the past couple of seasons it seems the shift has occured where a number of talented kids are transferring out of the Lions program. Facing an uphill battle already in the Cedar Run District, a player with Maynor's ability probably could have moved on too. He chose to stay for his senior season and it has paid off immensely. The Wildcats are getting really good play out of junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1298696' first='Will' last='Shields'] who has a chance to solidify their playoff spot this week. He had three total touchdowns in their win over South Lakes, keeping the postseason hopes alive for one more game. He gashed Central Wise for 3 touchdowns and 200 yards on the ground, another workman's like performance out of his rising junior.
