Take a minute and look at Maynor’s stat line below and think about this, he plays in one of the toughest (if not the best) districts in the state of Virginia. Been high on this dude since week 1 and quite frankly he deserves it. Maynor had 10 receiving touchdowns for Unity Reed and he should be getting interests from colleges across the East Coast. He is 6’5 and can run like a deer, do not tell he can’t play at the next level.

Facing an uphill battle already in the Cedar Run District, a player with Maynor’s ability probably could have moved on too. He chose to stay for his senior season and it has paid off immensely. One of the league leaders in every receiver category, he added another touchdown in their win over Osbourn Park.

Going against some of the best schools in class 6 has not slowed down his progress, he hauled in 6 receptions with 1 touchdown last week against Battlefield. Playing in a district that has three bona fide state title contenders, Jordan has not backed down and continues to take advantage of his big frame at 6’5 and 205 lbs.. My bet is he is good enough to play at the Division 2 level and hopefully my old friends in the PSAC conference start coming his way.
