In the state of Georgia, it's quite difficult to choose a handful of quarterbacks who can be at the top of the list. The reason for that is not because there isn't enough to pick from but because there are so many to choose across the great state of Georgia. I had to cover the entire state to pick a few from South, North and Middle Georgia. Even then there are so many, but we took a good look at a specific six who are game changers for their teams, and they are guys who have high expectations heading into the next level of their playing careers in High School.

Garman has a tremendous ability to tuck and run. He doesn't just run and try to get a few yards, once Garman tucks it, he tries to take it the distance. Garman plays with an edge you would love for a quarterback to play with. Garman is an escape artist at the QB position and he's not easy to bring down and he can find his receivers because he has great vision downfield while being able to get his pass accurately to his targets. Thomson is excited about the future of Garman.

One of the best in the Country in the 2029 class is [player_tooltip player_id='476854' first='Zack' last='Parker'] out of Rome Georgia. I watched his most recent game in the playoffs and for anyone who has only seen Parker on film needs to see him in person because he's even more impressive then. Parker has a way of letting the game come to him and he plays with a level of confidence that most in his class do not. His maturity in leading his team and controlling the emotion of the game is simply impressive. His skillset is second to none as he's able to throw the ball in an accurate manner at all angles fitting the ball into tight windows or dropping it into the hands of the receiver in stride for a quick six. He's got a strong arm with some zip behind it which allows his passes to reach his targets before defenders can make a play on them. He's turned himself into a dual threat quarterback instead of a pro-style. Parker has the IQ to know when it's time to tuck the ball and go or can buy time to find an open target. Parker certainly has one of the more impressive skill sets that I have seen in a long time.

Cypher is a kid that I have been impressed with for a while and his ability to get the ball down field is exceptional. Cypher has really good size at his age and possesses a maturity at the quarterback position that I believe is very important in order to be an effective leader for the team. One thing I like most about Cypher's game is his ability to escape pressure and bounce outside the pocket scrambling to make an unorthodox throw on the run and still be able to complete it in a timely manner. Cypher can run when he needs to but shows the ability to be able to stand firm in the pocket and pick defenses apart. CJ is certainly one of the best in the 2029 class.

I really like Thomas Jr. out of Valdosta. He is a multi-sport athlete and his game is unique because of that. I believe more times than not that a multi-sport athlete can benefit from one sport to another because of the muscle memory used in each sport allows you to be an even better athlete. At the QB position, Lamar shows an impressive ability to create plays with his legs and with an eye-popping jab step making the defender lose sight of him as he escapes into the second level of the defense. Thomas's ability to sling the ball on the run is what makes him so dangerous. Special talent here.

In Moultrie, Georgia there always seems to be a really good signal caller come through for the Colquitt County Packers. [player_tooltip player_id='1413263' first='MJ' last='Fowler'] is definitely that next guy in the near future. I really like his confidence in his throws and no matter what spot he's throwing from, he's very confident in where he is going with the ball. He does a great job at making sure his players are in the right spots and in position to be successful. An important strength for Fowler is that he always knows where the defense is at all times which allows him to confidently know where he is about to deliver the football.

Zackery Bell was extremely impressive in the Dekalb County championship game and showed promise the entire game reminding people just how special he is and can be. Bell is an amazing athlete that plays with a ton of confidence while getting his teammates the ball and putting the team on his shoulders if need be. His uncanny ability to zip the ball to his receivers while having to improvise at times. Being able to do those things and work in unison with his teammates is what sets him apart and makes him one of the best in the 2029 class.
