He is ultra talented with an athlete style of game at the quarterback spot, Bell makes quick decisions and makes smart ones. Bell plays the game with an energy that is Johnny Manziel like. Yes, that’s the comparison of the intensity that Bell plays with. Looking at film or seeing him in person on the field is special to see because he brings so much passion to his game. It certainly shows around his teammates and that’s one big reason they have been very successful. Having a leader, a quarterback with purpose and passion in his game might just be the best position to possess something of that magnitude.

Zackery Bell was extremely impressive in the Dekalb County championship game and showed promise the entire game reminding people just how special he is and can be. Bell is an amazing athlete that plays with a ton of confidence while getting his teammates the ball and putting the team on his shoulders if need be. His uncanny ability to zip the ball to his receivers while having to improvise at times. Being able to do those things and work in unison with his teammates is what sets him apart and makes him one of the best in the 2029 class.

Bell has scored multiple TDs in every game this season for Cedar Grove. He’s lining up as a Quarterback for the Saints this season, but in my opinion he’s certainly more of an Athlete at this point in his career. Through the first three weeks of the season, he has accounted for nine total touchdowns. Whether throwing for TDs with his right arm, using speed and dual-threat ability, or even with his defensive play notching a pick-six, he’s getting it done all over the field. He has to be an early favorite for the DeKalb County MVP.
