A South Georgia QB on the rise with mobility and natural arm talent, Fowler showed promise as a freshman for Colquitt County last season and will hope to earn the starting job at Camden County this fall. He’s a good athlete who can make plays with his legs and has worked hard this off-season to develop as a passer. He shows a quick release and the ability to push the ball down the field. If you’re looking for a “breakout” quarterback this fall in the 2029 class, especially in Southwest Georgia, Fowler might be good pick. He’s one to keep a close eye on in 2026.

Fowler, like Collins, is moving into Camden County. Regardless if he gets a shot or not on varsity this fall, he is still someone to track for the future, given his age. Having seen Fowler in person, he definitely offers plenty to be excited about. He is still a lean, thin, youthful player, but he has a whippy delivery and gets plenty of life on the ball. His natural growth will take his game to another level. Now, we just have to sit around and wait for his opportunity and for everything to tie together.

Similar to Thomas, Fowler is a guy to watch. He is at a recruiting hotspot, at a premium position, and has some traits worth a close look. While thin and still growing, he has an elastic delivery and can spin the ball. He is a good athlete as well, evidenced as being one of the top testers at our January Stock Up Tour. I’ve seen this kid in person a few times, and it’s clear he has some upside. Another guy where it seems like a matter of when, not if, regarding his recruiting process.

One of my favorite 2029 quarterbacks and one of the most talented in the Peach State. I am very excited to see what Fowler does during the quarterback drills. His uncanny ability to make great throws is going to impress a lot of people. He is one to really keep a close eye on during this event!

In his film, you can tell that he is a younger guy, but he also has a lot of the physical traits you would want out of a young guy. This includes his arm talent. His downfield passes are through the roof, as he is past his time when it comes to the lobs he lets loose. Fowler is a quicker guy as well, which leads many to believe that he could turn some heads at the event.

An exceptional talent as we all know when it comes to MJ Fowler MJ Fowler 6'0" | 170 lbs | QB Camden County | 2029 GA , but one thing that really pours out to me is the fact that Fowler has such a natural ability to be a leader and he does it through his play alone. Yes, Fowler shows through his play that his leadership skills are next level, but he does it through other actions as well when it comes to outside of playing. He’s an all-around leader and it all shows clearly on the gridiron!

Fowler is someone that I have touched on a few times in write ups and rightfully so. Fowler is a very talented quarterback on the rise right now and playing in South Georgia at one of the premier programs there are high expectations but Fowler is up for the challenge and his high IQ and ability is going to flourish there. He is a pretty polished player for his age and will only get better. His throwing ability is consistent and he operates an offense smoothly.
